At around 7:35, Ariel starts to play some very nice sounding runs that sounds a little bit Harmonic Minor to my ears. Can someone here explain what he's playing there? I'd love to get it into my own playing
@elisabou36836 жыл бұрын
Melodic minor. The 'out' note is the major 7th.

Thank you!
@willemh.deboer60316 жыл бұрын
No you're right, it's harmonic minor, the butter note here is the major 7th. But the b6 fits better here here than the 6 of the melodic minor.

I think we get enough of their playing via Anderton's videos. I'm uncertain who pays the cost for flying these guys from England to Los Angeles but, I'm guessing Lee Anderton picked up the tab and is paying their expenses. There are huge expense involved which could ultimately pay for someone's salary or education and a simple cost/benefit analysis would reveal its not worth the money to do something like this.
@royalsnogard6 жыл бұрын
Hey pal, you just blow in from stupid town? Lee paid for Danish Pete's flight and expenses, since he is the one demoing everything in their NAMM videos with Lee and Pete in them since Lee isn't that great of a player. Not that insane for a company to pay for a business trip, quiet common actually. Also, Andertons will make that money back easily plus more from their NAMM videos and related sales. Ariel wasn't there as an Andertons employee. As you can see from the different colored boarders of their passes, Pete is there as a Buyer under the Andertons brand and Ariel is there as a Demonstrator, so he was most likely flown in by some company (maybe Suhr seeing as that is what he is playing in the video) to demo their products at their booth for them.
@LiberTBo6 жыл бұрын
S Mullan Clearly, you have never been involved in a business culture where expenses are based on profit delivery. Dreaming about phony platitudes where guitar players deliver gross margin profits is demonstrative of how little you about business. If you were cutting the checks, would you be willing to spend an incredible amount to put these guys into the NAMM 2018 mix? How much money do you make a year? I doubt you'd be so liberal with money if it were coming out of your own purse.
@SteveRayMorse6 жыл бұрын
Omg...who fucking cares?! Just enjoy the video
@LiberTBo6 жыл бұрын
Its not that important Treadstone but I'm guessing S Mullan wishes he was on the Anderton's payroll...
