I spoke to a holocaust survivor before at high school over here in the UK that was amazing to hear the stories but sad at the same time. But i’d love to hear any story out there from these guys.

Such love, admiration for these young men who just did it . Incredible exploits I have been watching many documentary's of this time . I was 2 my father was an Engineer who worked on inspection of parts of the Spitfire. Bless them all.

they didn't have nowhere else to go, most of Europe was over-run with the Nazis and also the Soviet Union, the only place they could go if they wanted to fight was Britain

For those who don't know, Skagen is a town on the Northern tip of Jutland and "ind" means "in", which doesn't really make much sense🤔

In this case "Ind" is being used as an abbreviation rather than a preposition, though it is still not precisely clear how it was meant. My guess is "toward."
