I just noticed, that that Kellogg's bootleg nano had an E-Book option. Imagine reading a book, on that tiny, low resolution, low quality screen. It's hard enough reading on a phone in a car, but imagine being in the back seat of a car, reading a book on this tiny 1 inch screen. Now that's what I call hard mode!

LMAO, I had one of the Gatorade-type ones! It was my MP3 player when I was just a kid. They were branded as "Riptunes", and hilariously, they had more storage than both of the ones you showed combined. Yeah, so basically I just used it as flash storage for my middle school documents.

The guy who invented cereal, John Harvey Kellogg, tried to make it as unpleasant as possible because he thought that the happier you were the shorter you’d live. At last, 77 years after his death, Kellogg has achieved his goal, although with an MP3 player rather than granola.

In case anyone doesn’t know, because it’s from forever ago, Don’t buy “heavy duty” batteries. Counterintuitively, the ones that say “heavy duty” are the worse ones that don’t last very long. It’s an artifact of even older, worse batteries. There were old batts, then heavy duty ones. Then, like forty years ago, the newer alkaline batteries gradually started to take over. They lasted much longer. Now, alkalines are just your basic bog-standard batteries, but they never stopped using “heavy duty” for the even older ones. So, “heavy duty” = crap, now. Don’t be fooled!

Worked for a fortune 10 company. Was given headphones when I was hired in. They were the worst piece of junk ive ever seen. Only one bud worked and there was no bass, there was no mid, only screeching highs in what was left. While walking around the office one day, I saw a coworker jamming out to those. I offered my condolences and gave them my back up buds. Said coworker thanked me but they couldn't accept because I must of gave them so crazy hifi head phones....They were standard free apple buds that came with every ipod. The biggest companies outsource the worst crap.

These MP3s back in 07 were amazing to just have around. The fact that we could take music in such a small device that could also just stick to your cars stereo was so convenient. As a lil thug in the streets, driving in a 1992 blue Corolla with my USB in my radio made me feel as free as Morgan Freeman's friend in that one movie.

ahh these old aux cables that were cassettes. you shove them in the player and through some tech wizardry whatever goes in from the pug gets transformed into something the tape deck could read.
