I’d say Fury is the Nonets’ eldest, apart from Worton. He was possibly their original leader. His desire for revenge against the original Dragonoid was amplified in his strength and ability to summon a Mecthogan, albeit four of them. It’s honestly interesting and impressive how Fury generated four Mecthogan of four different attributes. It’s possible he had Pyrus powers, like Brontes, which are the opposite of Darkus, and could change his attribute to Haos and Aquos, and his great powers enabled him to summon Mecthogan of those powers’ attributes.

I feel like this entire 20 episode arc should’ve been extended to 30+ episodes and made into its own season, with Mechtanium Surge being extended as well to give Mag Mel more time to shine. It makes sense considering all the brawlers (besdies Dan) switch partners and characters like Spectra disappear between arcs with new ones like Gunz showing up. Even in New Vestroia’s 3 arcs the core six remained the same. This season could’ve been called Bakugan: Nonet Retribution or something

@@genericname4168 Yea, Mechtanium Surge packed a lot, but left a lot of unanswered questions and had even more things that could've been in the season since all 5 worlds were being targeted. Also if going by the Japanese ver most of the first 6 Brawlers were in their last year of high school so that could've been nice background info. And yes, Mag Mel did need more building up, he practically had Dan in his hand and could've been a whole lot more scarier(no idea if Drago was having daily nightmares, from what remember he didn't). There's more, but ending there, as for Arc 2. It's alright, Arc 1 took all my rant energy, but this arc could've been an alright season with grown up Brawlers helping the Next Generation and maybe Gunz having his own team to work with or join the Brawlers.

The second half of Mechtanium Surge is definitely the weakest of the Bakugan series IMO. It feels like the writers kind of wrote themselves into a hole, with Dan's steady increase in power throughout the previous seasons. With the final defeat of Barodius in the first arc of this season, the writers had to come up with a new antagonist that could threaten the universe and also somehow be more powerful. The previous arc with Barodius as the antagonist was a superior story. It had numerous episodes to develop, initially teased from the end of New Vestroia to its conclusion at the end of the first half of Mechtanium Surge. Dan was also less OP at that point in the story so the writers had more to work with. Now I don't hate the second half of Mechtanium Surge, Mira coming back is a significant plus, and the show's still fairly enjoyable, but the story feels a lot less developed, the battles have gotten simpler, the antagonists are less complex, and the ending is a bit unsatisfying.

His arc could be what to do now after the whole thing with Masqurade and having Alice not regress to being unwilling to do anything(which she kind of sadly did in NV until Masqurade talked some sense into her) Also, Preyas and Tigrerra apparently got strong enough so they wouldn't get insta-killed by a Mechtagon. So that boat has already sailed. Hydranoid could even get to evolve so he can keep up. Helios literally got this so he could avoid being left behind by MS's powercreep. So why not Hydranoid too? He's Drago's OG rival.

​@@nightshroud9671 he might be dragos og rival facts but he's got the weakest rivalry in comparison to Helios and Dharak, you could even argue that Helios absolutely eclipses Dharak as well (not talking about strength btw). A big reason why fans love Hydranoid is mostly nostalgia tbh, Helios for instance has had a way better rivalry I mean this guy was literally cybernetically enchancing himself and using bakugan steroid. Part of what made Helios and Dragos rivalry iconic was Helios passion outside of battle, all of his progression in S2 was kept up with his determination to pass Drago, Hydranoid never really showed that passion, he was a decent rival in battle but not much outside, while Helios was an excellent rival in and out of battle

​@@nightshroud9671 (sorry for the 2nd comment) but as for pure power wise, all of the S1 bakugans were wayy left behind, if they had developed hydranoids power since S2 then fine, but they didn't, so it would be wayy to wonky to try and shove in a reason as to how he can jump from 500gs all the way to to 900+ which was S3/4 G standard, Helios though, was wayy closer to the standard G level in S3 and 4, and even pioneered the main gimmick of S3 which would pioneer the main gimmicks of S4 arc 1 and 2.

I think I know why Bakugan stopped for a bit after 2011. This season had multiple intros, multiple voice actors for old returning characters, and had two "episode name" clips; a.k.a the one that shows that this episode is called Evil Arrival. There was a LOT of money spent on this, and they probably didn't earn that much. That's why they didn't bring back many of the older characters. Once they established a safe zone, they brought back Runo and Julie to be in a bunch of episodes in a row halfway through Bakugan New Vestroia.

I always wondered why dan and the others didn't adhere to season 1 rules that they created. Those rules were what defined the game and they allowed them to observe their opponent's moves and strategize accordingly. But now it's just spamming ability cards. and they even removed g power 🤦 I could understand in season 2 and 3 cause they were playing in a different dimension but now that they are back on earth and everything is fine at the moment. why don't they play like they used to do before?

This arc would've been better if the original 6 brawlers were in it Dan, Runo, Marucho, Shun, Julie, and Alice along the original Bakugan Drago, Tigreera, Preyas, Skyress, Gorem, and Hydronoid. Have all of them (except Drago) having new evolutions and mechtagon of their and have them obtain Mechtagon along with having Drago revive Zenthon and have all six fuse into Zenthon Destroyer and have them fuse too Dragonoid + Hydronoid, Skyress + Preyas, and Tigreera + Gorem.

I don’t like this series because I don’t think it was done right. They changed partners halfway through the series. It shows that partnerships don’t mean anything. And then in the later episode where all the bakugan on new vestroia die. Several died without even a line. I feel like what should’ve happened was that EVERY bakugan that was a main (preyas, skyrus, hydranoid, Black blah blah) and every brawler( ace, runo, fabia, Black blah) should’ve all come in for one Dragonball z blast and fucked him up. But that’s just me.

If we go back to the beginning of the Interspace project in New Vestroia, we hear Marucho talk about how the purpose of making Bakugan digital was to remove the need for battling with real Bakugan and treating them like circus animals. This is thought of as bad throughout the seasons- including when the Vestals do it. So why the HELL did the Brawlers not do what they promised to do and just REBUILD INTERSPACE? Bakugan that don't battle can have a digital clone in the interspace and can help advise their partners during battle oh and Dan's harem (Runo, Mira and Fabia cause why not) arrived XD. Lets just pretend this season never happened and it ended like that, last bits a joke.
