Nonet was really bad. They respected Fury even when he was destroyed by Corodegon. They cooperated to kill the Dragonoid, not knowing that they were being used by the Wisdom, Corodegon. The bad deal they made cost them everything. All Bakugans were killed. Dan and the brawlers listened to the professor, time traveled and created an alternative time. Unfortunately, when there was no alternative, Corodegon and his team prevailed. Since New Vestroia and the Bakugan city were destroyed, Mectavius Destroyer became unstoppable and invincible because he absorbed the energies of the Bakugan he killed and became stronger each time.

The Nonets furthered them for their own reason and were overall a bunch of brothers who loved each other, and weren’t as evil as they seemed, considering how angry Betadron was of Mectavius Destroyer’s actions and gave his life to save the universe, achieving redemption. None of Drago’s rivals ever did so.

This episode pretty sums up why The Wandering Mechtagon Saga is the worst plot in all of Bakugan. Hell, I enjoyed the BT System Saga more than this. Rip of DBZ with fusions, fusions, fusions, fusions and more fusions? Check. Disgrace old characters by revoking them of any worthwhile roles I the plot or semblance of their former personalities, of in some cases both? Check. Turn the series into Transformers by making every single battle in a competition of who can make the biggest explosions, or have the strongest robot who makes the biggest explosions? Check. Introduce too many new characters and do next to nothing with any of them? Check.

KZbinsurfer01 I didn't mind the Nonets, they were serviceable, but I feel that having four evil Mechtagon without masters employing the help of the a bunch of Bakugan seems a bit ridiculous. Why not just kill them all from the start? Absorb their energy, and then it's all good. When Cordagon had so much personal power at his fingers, he really had very little reason to go out of his way to play puppet master like Masquerade did. Masquerade was strong on his own, but he was just one guy. He was resourceful, but there was only so much he could do alone, so it made sense that he enlist the help of other battlers. Cordagon and the other wandering Mechtagon have no reason to play puppet master when they could just combine into Mechtavius Destroyer, kill some Bakugan and absorb their energy and then destroy the universe or whatever. Also, the Wiseman thing is just pointless. Again, Cordagon has NO REASON to use trickery with the Brawlers. Mechtavius Destroyer could killed all the Nonets and absorbed their energy any time he wanted. The puppet master character only can only work when there's only so much a character can do on their own. Cordagon has three other mutant Mechtagon to help him out. And he's the only one to play puppet master. The Wandering Mechtagon saga DOESN'T WORK. I didn't mind the Magmel Saga, though, that wasn't too bad.
