Danmakufu - Yukari Yakumo Ver. 2.5 [The last one, finally]

After one final update, with modifications to several spell cards, I am proud to say that this script is FINALLY at a point where I'm satisfied with it.
I'm not bothering with annotations this time. Many things are mostly the same anyway. But I'll put my commentary here:
*1st spell card was changed: The old one just sucked. And at least this one's a lot prettier, too.
*2nd spell card was changed: There was too much potential for getting impossible walls or cheapshots.
*Survival spell was remade: The old one was far too lazy, and had the bosses doing the same thing for way too long
*The 7th and 8th spells were changed: I also inadvertently changed the order, but never really bothered changing the order back. Expansion and Contraction is now no longer an uncanny clone of that one spell from GFW, and the stars in the other spell are no longer completely random
*The 9th spell was changed: The original was simply a modified clone of Spiriting Away. Now I made things more interesting--When Yukari teleports, she swaps positions with the player. You'll need to take care to position yourself carefully, or you could screw yourself over.
*10th spell was changed: Slightly. The randomness in the angle of the random bullets is now slightly lower
*A few nonspells were slightly modified to make them less cheap
*The Last Word (not shown in this video) was slightly modified as well at certain points

There are a FEW changes between this version of the script and the one he played (i.e. the player restriction--In the current version, you can only play as the default Reimu and Marisa players, for balance purposes).

You know what I like about this script? It's INTENSE and shows Yukari's power. We don't even know if she actually went all out against Reimu and the others since she had no beef with them. I LOVE IT

Sorry to sound like a whiny fan, but what if the musical side of Gensokyo got together for the ultimate musical band/danmaku machine? Mystia for Vocals, Prismrivers for well, you guessed it. Raiko for her pristine drumming skills, And that Lute and harp lady too. GG Reimu/Marisa/whomever the player uses. Also, best Yukari Script I've seen.

I've actually had the idea for making such a script for quite some time now. It's a concept too good to not be explored. I'm not sure when I'll get to it though, I've always got like a million Danmakufu ideas buzzing around in my head at any given time. But I can at least say with confidence that more projects are on the way.

Because I was obsessed with "OMG SO RANDOM" bullet patterns back then >.> I've made a personal rule now to avoid total randomness as much as possible. Nowadays, I mostly introduce minor randomness to patterns to prevent them from becoming stale.

The script I'm working on now is progressing slowly because of real life stuff, but I should be able to get back to working on it within a few months--I'm almost finished with it! Though I wouldn't call it a "remake", it's going to be all-new patterns--it still features Yukari though. If you want to see an actual remake though, watch my "Recollection of Scripter's Past" video, where I feature several revamped versions of some of the spells you see here.

I haven't thought about that actually, but I think I might at some point! I've been meaning to modify the Last Word a bit anyway. Hell I may even add more spells and just change the musical format--several songs instead of one. Also, speaking of Impossible Spell Card, I'd just like to say that ZUN totally stole my idea at 10:04 for swapping places with the boss with Sakuya :v
