I'm really happy that you like 2ha, it is also my favorite series! In defense of Mo Ran why he did that to Song Quitong: he knew her actions in their previous life and knew that under her kind and shy mask there is a calculating woman. She made Chu Wanning's nails be torn from his fingers just because she was jelous. And she did try to frame Ye Wangxi. It can be kind of understood given her circumstances, but doesn't justify her actions. And Mo Ran was afraid that Ye Wangxi would meet the same fate as Chu Wanning in their previous life and suffer because of this woman. So basically he did it to save Ye Wangxi. 😊 The confession scene was sooooo good, though! Chu Wanning is so precious ❤

The confession was the first thing I read in the volume 😂 and then I read it again after reading the book from the beginning, I'll more than likely read it again before I start the next volume lol. As for Mo Ran's involvement in the Nangong Si/Song Quitong wedding, I do understand his concern and the reason he felt like he had to do that. But he achieved his goal by forcing her into a situation she had no way of getting out of, all while knowing she was innocent. To use Rong Jiu as another example, that was someone who was actually planning to do the same thing they did in the 0.5 timeline and never really looked like he was going to change for the better going by his actions in the underworld arc. The two situations feel very different. There is no way to know for sure, but it didn't seem like the current Song Quitong was heading towards the person she was in the 0.5 timeline.

I can only comment on Yuwu since that's the only one I've read in this list, but it was such an amazing volume. Yes, it is a tough series to read but the way Meatbun explores how unconditional love can affect the decisions people make and the ones they love is fascinating to read about.

I agree completely, she really has a way with words. Through all of Mo Xi's hurt, you can see a man who loved, was betrayed by that love but still held on to the hope that there was something he was missing. Reading his POV was torturous but this volume shows you that Gu Mang is worthy of that love and trust. It's sad and beautiful at the same time 😭

I agree sm on what you said about mo ran´s plan of showing sqt´s true colors !! I love mo ran so much he´s my babygirl but I also really like sqt and she didn´t deserve that, I understand he did that to protect ye wangxi since even in the 1st timeline they mention something about sqt betraying her, but he really didn´t need to do all that lol. On the same topic I´ve also seen people side with rong jiu because if you think about it, he´s a sex worker who got all his savings stolen by a young master of a powerful sect and got no justice (since he never saw cwn beating mo ran and didn´t get his money back) but for some reason I don´t really like his character despite being really similar to sqt, I guess he just never grew on me. But yeah the characters having flaws and being imperfect is part of why I love that novel so much, I never run out of things to say about it

I can talk endlessly about 2ha 😂but I do agree with you. Rong Jiu is the other example I usually bring up in comparison to Song Quitong. I won't go as far as saying Rong Jiu deserved what Mo Ran did to him seeing as he was just someone fighting for his own survival as well but both situations feel very different.

i still have yet to read erha, but i finally have the first couple volumes epubs downloaded. i will maybe start that some time soon, but also i get nervous balancing too many series at a time because i'm afraid to forget a lot of the details 😅 i should really take notes while i read haha

I highly recommend taking notes while reading; not just to remember the plot, but it also helps with critical analysis. It definitely helps with keeping track of reading multiple series at once though!
