Crunchyroll acquiring RightStuf was such a sad moment. For a little while there, it seemed like everything would be fine, but the customer service is definitely lacking. The overtaking of danmei for a mid-year book freakout tag is amazing and I love it! I cannot wait to start cherry magic! I've only heard amazing things about it and I love when relationships are just positive (even though I love the DRAMA of other relationships, too 😂) and I'm so happy that it's one of them. Those hardcovers of SV and Grandmaster are GORGEOUS. I wish they would release English editions of those as well. Hope is still there since they are releasing hardcovers of Heaven Official's Blessing. Lovely video and I hope you have a wonderful week!

I agree that they were doing okay in the early stages of the acquisition, probably to lure people into a false sense of security lol. I love how danmei completely took over the tag and I keep joking about how my most disappointing reads are books I read outside of the genre (a sign perhaps 🤣) Cherry Magic is awesome! Funny, sweet, emotional... you're going to love it ❤ There might be hope for other hardcover editions in English. A lot of people are thinking TGCF is a test run and 7S might do the same for others based on how well this one performs. Have you seen the cover??? It's so beautiful 😭, I'm a little annoyed cos I already started buying other editions. I just thought we won't get one 🥲 Always good to hear from you, have a lovely week as well 🥰

I switched from Crunchyoll to Merry Manga Co. I get all of my manga and Seven Seas danmei from them now. Their prices are similar to Crunchyroll’s and the packaging is secure. The only con is that shipping can take 2-3 weeks. I also cried during Yuwu. I’m sure I will with Erha too but I’m gonna wait till it’s almost done releasing because I already hate waiting for Yuwu😅

Thank you for sharing, I'll definitely check them out! I don't really mind long shipping as long as I'm expecting it, I'll just have to take my preorders elsewhere. Waiting till Erha is nearly complete is a good choice, there's still quite a bit of it left but those two are tearjerkers for sure 😢What good timing this is though, the 4th volume of Yuwu comes out tomorrow, I can't wait to read it ☺

Ps: I don’t do reading goals. The last book I read was Money Matters by Rebel Girls. Not a danmei or manga but in terms of that I last read Husky and his white cat and First Crush Anthology
