I have less than a month left of being seventeen. Seventeen was supposed to be the age I do everything i possibly can before becoming an adult. Sneaking out with my friends, going to the beach, staying out all night and falling in love, but instead for majority of seventeen i’ve been bed bound. I started having throbbing headaches a year ago today actually, nausea, i lost feeling on the left side of my body, i lost my peripheral vision, i attempted to kill myself multiple times because the pain was so bad that i’d rather die than live anymore. It was a constant, agonising pain that felt like my body was failing on me. In August of ‘22, i had my first MRI, and on that MRI they uncovered multiple white, non-cancerous spots. In September ‘22, i had a second MRI that showed that in less than a month, those white dots had doubled, multiplied. This caused concern for my doctors because they believed that I could have had a stroke at any moment in time, and possibly die. I had always wanted to die, but when faced with the reality that I could actually die from being sick, I was so terrified that I cried everyday. I never felt so sick in my life. I wanted the pain to be gone so bad. No medications they had prescribed me helped my pain or condition. My body was attacking itself. My body was failing me. I felt hopeless, depressed and mad at God, because why me? I was diagnosed with chronic migraines, chronic body pain and a rare auto immune disease called CNS (central nervous system) Vasculitis. I don’t know how I can possibly live with all this pain. I don’t think I could ever possibly be completely healthy again. Seventeen was not the year i hoped for it to be. I just hope eighteen is different.

It has done wonders for my personal clients it takes a lot of pressure off the spine and underlining structures that place compression in the CNS through the spine. this song reminds me of my brother that i barely remember 🥲 my brother was 17 in 2009 when he died. he passed away in a car accident after attempting to do some trick with his friends, i feel so shit because i don’t remember him like at all. i only see the pictures and videos of him, in the videos i see how much he loved and cared for me and how cool and funny he was, one thing i remember is when he’d get me to steal our dad’s cigarettes for him. oh my god i can’t tell you how much my brothers death impacted my father. i was 4 when he passed, you were only 17 :( literally drove in the pouring rain with a cigarette in his mouth in his final minutes. i miss you, i’m so sorry i don’t remember you i’m scared i’m gonna forget what i do remember if you. crazy that i’m now 18 and outlived you :( youth dying in saudi arabia due to car accidents makes my heart ache. my older brother could’ve been married, he could’ve been a father, he could’ve watched me grow up, could’ve watched me graduate. i miss you i miss you i cant even express it in words.

honestly im scared of turning 18 next year and im happy being 17 honestly, cause its like u can be very childish and pretending like kind of innocent in some type of ways and like jokes around about adulthood I'd say my 17 wasn't so good and best but it wasn't the worst its the best improvement of my worst i met alot of people being 17 and those people who i think are for keeps and its the best and its not like i think this best part of my life will stop, cause i have friends who's 1 year and 2 years older than me they act and do childish things like i do and im only 17 and they are mature too its just sometimes we act like kids lol and I've thought like their life or age the fun didn't stop so why should i worry,in my country people who is older than you u treat them with respect cause they're older but no we vibe and its like we're same age and do crazy they are amazing i realize that sometimes its not about the age its about the fun and the memories its about how u make memories with anyone how u make friends with anyone is what matters the most 12/26/23
