I don't remember when you started in on the shed, but I have enjoyed watching you Lear and bro into the young man that you have become. Your parents must be proud of you. Thank you for the years of enjoyment. Jon

I could NEVER handle roofing in that heat and I'm guessing a healthy dose of humidity to top it off. At least where I live we cool down at night so I can work in the early mornings before the heat gets too bad, but I'm guessing where you're at it's hot all day and all night with no relief. Kudos to you all, and please take care.

Might be wise to finish the roof before Beryl arrives. I might be under it here in Central Texas tonight...

Your Walfart A/C can keep up??? My Walfart A/C can't even keep a 28ft Camper Cool and I have a 6" Air Gap between the Roof and the Roofing Tin to give it the Air Gap and Shade.. And Over Hangs a Foot all the way around. 88* Outside, 92* Inside... Oh, then around Midnight, the A/C Freezes Over and has to be turned off to thaw out..

Only young people who haven't dealt with heatstroke and bad sunburn think that your outfit looks strange.
6 ай бұрын
Wearing the hat makes sense, wearing the hoodie makes no sense, you lose a lot of heat out of the top of your head and the hoodie is holding all that heat in.
@MrZZeroG6 ай бұрын
Actually the thermodynamics is that a person dressed normally for winter loses most heat from their head, not that it’s a particularly lossy part of the body. The hoody had the higher spf rating, but the breeze was going through it and the evaporative cooling was surprisingly good. Keeping that direct sun off our heads, necks, and face as much as possible was the goal. Thank you!
6 ай бұрын
@@MrZZeroG spf rating of the hoody is irrelevant because he was wearing a hat and the hats with wide brims like that are wide brimmed to keep the sun off the neck.

Arms, face, and neck get sunburned too. Doubling up on the face and head made a huge difference. We did way better this week compared to week before with just the hats. I spent a lot of time in Thailand for 5 years and it seemed strange to me at first too. Give it a try. Thanks!
