I do really like the way you do your channel reviews, your very knowledgeable and down to earth. Both these bikes are not on my radar but that didn't stop me watching to the end. I hope your channel grows significantly, you deserve it.

Back to back review was excellent. Both offer great value and the mainstream manufacturers are having to take notice.

Another good vid 👍. It’s so refreshing to see a reviewer acknowledge up front that they’re not necessarily on the exact model they’d need to be on for the closest possible comparison. It makes the whole opinion piece way more credible, IMO, and less like it’s bought and paid for by the manufacturer (unlike, say, 44 Teeth videos). Fundamentally though all the main ingredients are there in the ‘sport’ version of the CF to give us the meat and potatoes info. Nice work Dan.

I'm still on the fence about these. Online discourse is at the opposite ends of the spectrum. A few posts have highlighted rusty frames only a few years old and as someone who worked in an industry where we were banned from buying Chinese metal due to poor quality I'm very skeptical. On the other hand they offer great value and so many parts they churn out are on higher end bikes that there's an argument that sometimes you're just paying for the name. The shared parts like the forks is an example of where owners will have a positive experience, even if the quality isn't the highest, they're produced on such a massive scale by a big brand that availability will never be a problem and there's no risk of needing specialist tools to do the job. Love your comparison, not just facts but you highlight the experience as a whole on the bike. Great video as always Dan!

Absolutely, that is the dilemma isn't it. But for the first owner/original buyer at least the deal looks good given the engines and other components are probably dependable. It'll be further down the line we find out if the foundations can stay the course. Hence why I'm trying to be as horrible to the Voge as I can be in the time I have it to see how it holds up! More where this came from... /Dan

Well, when I bought my BMW R1200 GSA in 2012, mine had the black frame that started rusting within 12 months. The paint was extremely thin and over the years has taken a couple of pots of hammerite to keep together.

The DS900X isn't one year old yet,so no rusty frames..these are much better quality than the old 125cc bikes. They are great quality.

Recently had the 4.7 update and it made no difference to the fueling at all. That said, the reputed hesitancy has never been an issue either, Having moved from the Voge 650 big single to the extra ccs of the 900 by comparison it was smooth. I may have a good example or I adapted immediately, who knows. I have a Yamaha World Raid, that has been professionally remapped and there is a world of difference, silky smooth and a massive improvement over stock in relation to power delivery. Once the technical boffins have developed the software to improve the Bosch ecu on Voge bikes I reckon they will strike gold and owners will have an even better machine. Put the 900 into Sport mode and it flies now, when remapped it will be truly exciting….for a 900!!! On reflection, had I been able to remap the 650, I wouldn’t have traded up, that really was a fun bike but I enjoy a big single. Voge have a good range of bikes at the right price and are giving the big boys something to think about.

@richardhretczak536 issue was fixed by cf moto, widened cam followers a bit, increased oiling, detuned hp a bit. There are pics of new cams with 18000kms wear, and they look brand new !. Cf moto now make the engines for ktm. And guarantee them for 5 yrs
