You've conveyed quite brilliantly & comprehensively the differences in these two cars - I have driven neither, but my dream car for quite a while has been the Vantage - thank you for your valuable & in depth analysis on both, particularly in the handling characteristics, which is very important, in a GT Sports mid - engined two seater? I now know with certainty which one I'd opt for?!!

I currently have the 2022 meteor 350 ride 7k per year went to buy my retirement bike yesterday a 650 meteor, but was told a 650 classic was on the way out. I have put the purchase on hold I will be up grading to the 650 classic as soon as it is released in the US. retirement in 10 months hope to go out with a new bike. Counting the days for both I have had many bikes over the last 50 years the enfield is a simple straight forward bike no speed demon but boy it’s a great bike

I love the looks of the Classic 650 (except that black one, I never ever want to see another black bike) I absolutely love the teal colored one. It is bright and shiny, with almost no black on it. Sadly if it ever makes it to the U.S. it will be well over $10K USD OTD.

Automatic are for disability support. Almost no one who rides a motorcycle is disabled. Is this an attempt to get kids buying bikes? Because it just looks like an excuse to pump the price since no one asked for automatic transmission to be a feature

If you’re bothered about economy and handling, just buy a Golf Gti or an R - a car that an i4 works in perfectly. The Jag needs a V6 or V8, otherwise its character is lost.

I'm contemplating getting a 900 Voge, it's about time we as the punter get more for our buck, the big brands do tend to become rather elitist playing on there reputation of being the best. I think this brand is going to put fear into the big brands and when the sales start to drop they are going to have to rethink there marketing strategy, maybe adding the goodies as standard ?

Nice, fan of your work! As I understand it bikes don't pay congestion charge either so no need to factor that in. Think you have to pay ULEZ if it's an older ICE bike but obviously not an issue for the Maeving.

Looking forward to seeing your thoughts Dan. I’d like to see how you get on with dealer support and servicing as and when it becomes relevant, together with the service pricing. It would be interesting to compare with the GS. Can you confirm the service intervals too please. I gather than it was initially shown as 3,000 but is now 6,000 (ish - 10,000 km). I’ve seen it getting lots of good reviews from mainland Europe, where I gather it’s been on the market for a little while now. Lots of accessories available from Uncle Wang in China ! Keep up the good work 😃👍🏻

@@matthewbenjafield5470 You’re right, there was some confusion on servicing but after my original video Voge’s UK distributor confirmed it had settled on 10,000km/6,200 miles or annually, which is a lot better than initially thought. Will do some research on costs as well and report back in future…

That was that same bike as I tested and I came to the same conclusion, the bike without doubt does not need a second brake on the front as the single disc is more than adequate. I wanted a bike that was the total opposite of my Tech rich Moto-Guzzi V100S and this is it. Clearly this is a Marmite bike and not for everyone but if you want a raw and unfiltered ride this is for you. I have ordered the Street Moto S for delivery in March ( I could have had one sooner but delayed for personal reasons ). I also rode the standard street Moto, not hugely different but I felt the better suspension gave me slightly more confidence when the bike was thrown into the corners.

Last week I went to the CCM factory in Bolton to test ride the Street Moto & Street Moto R, the guys could not have been more accommodating and took me on a test ride around some fantastic roads up in the hills northeast of Bolton. Most of what was said in this test was applicable to both the bikes I tried but I am sure the road tyres gave a lot more confidence in the corners. I would have been very happy to own both the bikes that I tried but the R version with the better suspension and different exhaust was just that little more confidence inspiring when thrown into corners. Anyhow I have ordered a Street Moto R for delivery in March next year ( I could have got a bike a lot quicker but delayed for personal reasons )

Make no mistake this is not an Enduro or a bike to enjoy long distance travel on the open road... just like the bigger bikes I would not take them in Enduro or dirt bike land... Scramblers, while allowing you to travel down a light gravel road are simply heavy road bikes with a styling excercise... a crash is quite expensive, when you have to replace parts... and some of these parts are just show and dont last in the dirt... but as a road bike they are great... that is why I own the 400X, 900SS, and 1200XE... the 400X is for the fresh blood starting to ride, for the cost effective buyer who dont want the bank to own them and the rider who wants a second bike for quick around town rides... it is fun and I love it... however the shorter rider might want to look into the Street 400... novice riders who get back in the saddle and the veteran riders might wanna look at the 900 or the 1200 for more torque down the road...

The word "classic" in relation to motorcycles, cars etc. is generally used to describe a vehicle of some age (not new) with a valued history i.e. not junk. The current use of the cheap looking retro Royal Enfield plastic tank badges being stuck on the plethora of "motorcycles" oozing out of the Indian sub-continent hardly makes these bikes being "classic". Indian produced Bullet's of any variety will never be regarded as true Classic's. The only RE bike truly deserving of Classic status is the 700cc Constellation, none of the current RE badged jiggly built piles of cachu resemble anything that will ever become a Classic with a big "C".........P.S. My very first bike (purchased in 1964) was a 1960/61 250cc Royal Enfield Crusader Sports, a sort of "mini" Constellation hence my reverance towards the RE of days gone by and total distain towards the cheap crap produced under that name today.

Your bike history absolutely validates that opinion ... but I'll respectfully disagree and maybe we can meet in the middle somewhere, if that's OK! And celebrate the fact Royal Enfield builds bikes like this, and folk seem to want to ride them.

RE got it just right with the 350. A new 500 single may well as been as vibey as the old one and I don’t think they could air cool it and get is passed emissions regs . This is just a Repainted shotgun. It doesn’t look right. The old British derived bullet 350 was very rough in engineering terms but was lovely and smooth. The J Series platform is pretty much perfect and with the aftermarket pipe and air filter mod nearly as fast as the old 500. I won’t be selling mine and look forward to maybe a second 350 as they will be going cheap for at least a while.

I'm sad that the Thumper engine was lost, I always thought that sooner or later Royal was going to bring out a larger single-cylinder engine, but they opted for the engine from the Intercepter, the engine is excellent, I love twin-cylinder engines, but I like things to be different. I don't really like seeing the same engines in different models, for example maybe this classic model could have the engine with a different explosion order, something that was more classic and gave a different sound for example like Kawasaki did in the W800 model, I think that this classic would be better this way.
