The most incredible thing about Larry is not his confidence, nor his ability to back it up. It's that 30 years later, Larry has the greatest players to ever exist, telling stories about him beating them, almost as point of pride. It's almost like they're saying, "If you think Larry made you look like a fool, then you haven't heard about the time he schooled me." That's the next level R. E. S. P. E. C. T. that Aretha talks about. Hence, "Larry the Legend".

Danny Ainge played two pro sports! He played professional baseball and professional basketball! For the longest time Danny Ainge was the youngest player in Toronto Blue Jays history to hit a Home run! Good athlete!

Ainge was an incredible athlete. Kind of a crybaby on the court sometimes, though.

I wish someone had bet him $20 that he couldn’t get that tenth steal during his near quadruple-double against the Jazz.

Bird must have been good at banking in shots because he banked in one to beat the Sixers in Game 7, and he banked in another one at a 3-point shootout.

Their is a strong case that Bird is the best shooter that ever lived. He has a better left hand then ANY of the top shooters from any generation. People just assume, that a players shooting ability is only based on their dominant hand, but it's not. Bird would easily be able to knock down deep 3’s today with the soft defence and the rule changes that are created to make offensive players look good.. In fact, I believe Bird could shoot 40 percent, lefty from the 3 point line back in his prime if he practiced it. No one playing in any era could do that, but the trancendant Larry Bird..

@@jaredbracci3529 Larry shot 50% from 2, 40% from 3, and 90% from line for a season twice and the only player to accomplish that feat more more was Steve Nash (4 times). The thing is, Larry didn't really practice the 3 much so he could have been a much better deep shooter.

It's just hilarious that a trainer shows up during the game to reiterate his point as if that's the most important thing. LOL 7/30/23, 2:38 p.m.

I have a Danny Ainge story, when he point blank inbounded the ball off of a Rocket player’s face at the end of the game,as they celebrated going to the finals. Whinny little Danny

Why would they have beat the Rockets “going to” the Finals? They beat the Rockets in the finals. Sounds like you’re the whinny one.

It was Mario Elie Heeeeeey PLAY NICE If you watch closely you can tell it was an accident. Danny was aiming for elsewhere.

@@JAMESGANG-f5u correct Mario Elie ! Lol, but u must be related to Ainge. I did see it close up, saw it live with replays. Not only was it purposeful but typical Danny. That’s why he fit in so well with the masters of cheap shot, Celtics. As much as I loved bird and company, I call it as I see it.
