No reason to hate on him, Won titles with the Celtics as a player. Won a title in his executive position with the Celtics. If he helps to bring a title to the Jazz then that's a pretty great career if you ask me. Not every move you make in upper management is gonna turn out to be winning or loved by everyone, You never know if some players are gonna develop into superstars or just flounder or stay the same. Gotta look at the big picture, He's not fully in charge and this is more of a mentor role where he can bring his insight and years of experience to this organization. So if the Jazz win the chip this year everyone will say oh great move by Ryan! and if they don't, everyone will say, Well Ryan shouldn't have brought Danny Ainge on board. Game is about the players, Players and coaches win championships. People in these roles are just there to try to get a good team together to do so. Can't blame them entirely if a team fails, Or give them all the credit if a team succeeds.

Never hate. But glad he is no longer the Cs GM, and I do not think that Stevens will be any better, not yet anyway. Ainge did not build anything in Boston save for bringing about the big three and one title over a couple of decades. Actually pretty disappointing overall.

It's a bit late, but I wanted to wish Danny good luck with the Utah Jazz. As a Boston Celtics fan I also wanted to thank him for everything he's done for my team. He put most of the pieces in place for the team now going to the Finals. He got ripped for trading down from the #1 pick (Markelle Fultz) to draft at 3, and walked away with Jayson Tatum... that worked out well. :-) You'll always be a Celtic, Danny. Good luck.

I said months ago that I didn't like Danny Ainge joining the Utah Jazz, and THIS is why... trading away Rudy Gobert makes us SO FREAKIN MAD!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬 Go back to Boston!!! You've only been here 6 months and destroyed our team trading away the BEST center in the league. Who in the world will EVER replace him or even comes close?!? Sadly, any hope of a Championship is now gone without Rudy. Yeah... here we go with Donovan, we get a few random players and a few picks, whoop-de-do... Smh, now we won't even see the playoffs for several years at least. May as well say goodbye to JC, BB, and MC.🤬 Making Danny Ainge CEO was the worst move in Utah Jazz history.

Quinn: horrible adjustments & rotations, No plan-B, Trade Quinn to the Lakers or Spurs for a 1st round pick or two… Sam Cassell as a replacement, has history with Danny Ainge & is a champion on multiple levels Rudy: Jazz would most likely have to include draft picks just to flip his contract & Jazz don’t have many if any draft picks available thanks to the horrible management job that included the original Conley trade (3 players + 2 1st round picks for a injury prone boarder line allstar that Memphis didn’t even want) & the Favors resigning & then trade that included giving up another 1st round pick Onovan NO-D aka NO-MAMBA Mitchell: he’s the only Jazz player that has actual value and could bring in multiple draft picks to help a rebuild
