I never heard your music until I was listening to ChRisTian music on you tube after my home are client was in intensive care on life support after having cardiac arrest in front of me. I was praying for him and l heard your song for the first time “tell your heart to beat again”. It was like a god send to hear such a song for the first time while my clients heart had stopped beating due to v fib in his heart. Through prayer and fasting he was able to come off life support and breathe without being hooked to oxygen . 8 weeks later his mind came back from oxygen deprivation. 2 plus years later he is still around with not one hospitalization or cardiac arrest. Praise god!

I seen this video in my suggestions... I have been on a big binge of his music. Seen it but ignored it... this was last week. One week later, my wife passes away... God led me to this man’s music and then this interview. I ignored it because I felt something behind it (intuition) so I didn’t want to put any bad “juju” on my life... but it was God preparing me for this moment. God works in mysterious ways... but the main thing is, God works. God is real and He works on our behalf, daily 🙏🏽💜😇

I had congestive heart failure and relate to the terrifying heart arrhythmia. My heart has been shocked and I spent every year in the hospital 3 years in a row. Last year, I had a heart ablation to fix things. There are still minor hiccups. "Tell your heart to beat again" resonates with me. I never knew that his precious wife passed away. I'm so grateful that she encouraged him to audition. God is using Danny to bless so many. Love him more now.

Her name is Breanna Huffman had a grade five aortic stenosis at birth her first surgery at nine two babies later and a second emergency valve replacement at 22 she is now doing great. I have to thank Danny Gokey, for standing up and writing songs about what he's been through. I have congenital heart disease like his wife, it's been almost 10 yrs since my last surgery and I pray I'll never need another one, but I learned the hard way 11 yrs ago that emotional pain makes physical pain look like a day at the beach, one of my very best friends who had a more severe and complicated form of CHD and other issues on top of that suddenly died, One day he was fine, less than 2 days later he was gone...and because I was also very young I had to carry that pain in silence. I lost contact with everyone else I knew who knew him and some nights I still cry myself to sleep. The song I Will Not Say Goodbye let me know that somebody out there does understand, and Tell Your Heart to Beat Again reminds me that I still have to get up in the morning and live life, because that's what my friend would want...

The congenital defect surgery Sophia passed away from sounds very similar to the second heart surgery i had 11 years ago to repair a defect. Wow, from now on when I hear his song "Tell Your Heart To Beat Again", it will be like listening to a song i never heard. I will never hear those lyrics the same again. He is an amazing man for allowing God to use his pain on such a grand scale (& so soon after his wife died from open heart surgery) to comfort others.

Danny, I'm alive by the grace of God. Three years ago I had a stroke, this last October I got a phone call from the VA Hospital telling me that I had tested positive for lymphoma cancer. Then after my 1st round of chemo I had a blood bacteria. I got an IV every 4 hours for 2 weeks, a total of 84 units of medication to take care of my blood bacteria. The day after I got the phone call I 1) met with the cancer dr at the VA, 2) had a bone marrow biopsy 3) was admitted to the Hospital. The next 3 days after that I had my first 3 chemotherapys, then 1 day the next week I had my 4th and final chemo of that round. My dr. at the VA gave me a 50/50 chance of getting my cancer to remission. My lymphoma cancer had surrounded my right kidney and was as they say choking my right kidney to death. It had cut off the tube from my right kidney to my bladder and my right kidney was getting larger because of that. So a different Hospital put in a tube from my right kidney to my bladder, and another tube from my right kidney out my back to a bag that I had to empty when it filled up or to empty it whenever I wanted to. I got that tube to empty my right kidney. But I'm still alive by the grace of God. Something should have killed me by now. But praise God I'm still alive.

Im so sorry Danny. Through your music you have helped me to Hope again in the precious blood of Jesus. Thank you so much for sharing your pain. The love of my life also died almost 2 years ago on Oct 8th 2016. It did not happen right away but the all consuming pain from Daves death and the inability to change the fact that he's not here anymore brought me back to God and a new freedom I have never known before from complete surrender and TRUST in Him. First I had to get over blaming God for taking Dave. I've always known that I know with no doubt that there is a God that loves me in a way I can explain and is always calling me even when I don't want him to. I've never been able to get away from him if I tried. So at almost 51 I free fall into the love of Christ. I have just decided that I do not understand the mind of God and I'm not going to try to anymore. The only thing in this life I'm sure of is God's love for me. I've been through a whole lot in my life but nothing ever affected me the way that Daves death did. Amanda's and hurt. I'm not glad that Daves dead that's for sure but today I'm happier in Christ than I have ever been and I know I'll see Dave again one day in heaven. Thank you Jesus for never giving up on me and thank you Danny for your music❤❤❤

I know exactly how you feel. My sister was a Brave woman like your wife. She was also a blue baby. She was born with a hole in her heart and she had many surgeries and 2 transplants (one was the heart and both lungs and the other one was a single lung) she was 25 when she recieved her first heart and double lung...and 41 when she recieved her single lung.
