Danny Gottlieb & Jeff Berlin Sampling Recording Session and Jam

Last weeks, Jeff Berlin and Danny Gottlieb were in Italy for some very successful clinics. At the end of the trip, they went to Milan to spend few days at "Officine Meccaniche" studio, recording samples of Danny's drums and cymbals for a signature Mark Drum preset kit!
This was an irresistible opportunity to record a video clip with these two fantastic musicians!

I reckon these have the most natural sound compared to the other brands like Roland and Yamaha.I've looked at and listened to countless video demos of the others and have come to the conclusion that the Mark Drum toms sound the least machine gunny of them all.

The drums sound awesome. As a guitar, bass, and organ player who has played through so many brands of amps and has even built several, my favorite bass amp is an Ampeg V4-B. The V4B is an SVT's tube preamp matched with a 100 watt tube power amp instead of the SVT's 300 watt tube power amp. As a rock bass player I wouldn't play anything else, but for jazz I could see solid state being desirable if it uses perfectly matched components and a good design. You can match LED's for clipping better now.

Please tell me guys why are you stopped with producing and updating your Mark Drum Yes Drumkits? I have a Markdrum Yes set at home and I love it these drums sound and play amazing! I hope you will sell those sets soon again and making updates for these amazing drums. No matter what I will be a Markdrum Yes lover 4 ever.

Im a bassist who played with electronic drums and really hated the sound. These drums on the video sounded wonderful. Jeff Berlins tone is nice and clean and beautiful. I prefer hearing a beautiful clean bass tone rather than effects pedals that make a bass sound like a keyboard or guitar.

It was 1984, I was 18 and decided to move to LA from Ohio. The only thing I had was two cassettes, a walkman, my guitar and a suitcase with my cloths in it. The two tapes were Road Games and Pink Floyd Animals. The YMCA had bars on the windows, was over 100 degrees, & smelled like Afro Sheen and pee. For two weeks I laid there switching the two tapes back and forth. Jeff Berlin's bass playing and Roger Water's bass playing soothed my worried mind! I love these two bass players in particular !

Samsgarden great practising tool,quieter,can fit in the trunk or boot of the car,consistent sound in different rooms.
