I dig what he said. Learn fundamentals! I learned guitar playing solos first. One day I just took a year off the learn chords because I realized that I knew none. I get it.

Oh my god. As a teacher it is essential to tell people what do do - and how to do it. So if somebody´s is sacrificing his time to listen to your laments about tuners and metronomes, take this seriously- and think about it- for a moment.

obviously jeff is one of the best, but i think i missed something because im not sure what he meant about learning from teachers isnt good, which ones is he talking about? and learing for the internet isnt a good thing? i dont get it, he gives lessons on the internet himself, i learn alot of things from the internet, ive never gone to school to learn music im basically self taught, 42 yrs now, i also play drums, but how can teachers not be a good thing? unless hes talking about ones that have the wrong approach or something like that? and i mean no offense by this , i just dont understand what he means, like i said i must have missed something...
