Danny inspects the local Christmas tree

Ginger cat Danny had a short walk today. He was excited to be walking with us, it has been a few days, we had to stay indoors due to weather. But he did get a chance to inspect the local Christmas tree. Not quite Trafalgar Square, but very nice all the same!

Danny likes the outdoors and his home comforts, he’s a lucky boy. He tends to stay close by when he’s on his own (we think) which makes his walks fun for him, he sees more with us 😀🐈

Danny had a lovely walk around the neighborhood. Such a nice Christmas tree, and very interesting to see the bench from the Queen's platinum jubilee! I don't blame Danny one bit for being scared of the bus! It was quite loud!

Well little Danny was so happy to be out in the open! does he have little kitty friends? he was sharpening his nails on the tree which is normal and hope you NEVER CUT THEM AS THEY ARE HIS PROTECTION! HE IS BEAUTIFUL!

Danny in quite a frisky mood, glad he resisted the temptation to climb the Christmas tree. The cat in my local pub always used to climb up the tree at Christmas, and get told off for it, but I suppose to him a tree was a tree lights and all.

Great question, because we did have an experience with Danny about 4 years ago, before we moved to Cornwall. We will share that at some point, but Danny would not like a leash, and he is very good and knows how to behave when we walk. You are right though, too sweet to lose, thank you! 🐈❤️

Yes, these 'urban' walks are ok because there are no dogs off their lead. Danny still needs to be careful though, and he is thankfully 🙂

Danny got the Zoomies, just like a little kid, getting excited about the prospect of the holidays. What's so funny is right before your video came on there was an advertisement for chosing your Christmas tree responsibly, ( guess it was to let people know their options for getting a Christmas tree?) There is no place like home...after a nice walk. 😻 I am happy to see you with Danny on these walks. I lost my first orange boy, Garfield (of course), since he was an inside/outside kitty. One day, he didn't come back...:(. It was a long time ago, but I still miss him.🧡🧡🧡

Danny is comfy at home, especially with the heating on now! Very sad that Garfield went missing, that will have been a very worrying time for you. A few years ago before we moved to Cornwall we had a similar scare with Danny, thankfully that had a happy ending, but it was a frightening wait.

Danny getting into the Christmas Spirit!🎄 My daughter is dreading putting up the Christmas tree🎄 as she has a new cat called Tigs 🐱who climbs everywhere and I think the tree will be the first thing he attempts when it's up! Christmas trees are a magnet for cats, especially the decorations! You are right, it is surprising that Danny didn’t contemplate climbing it. He thought about the big tree though 😀🐈
