Thank you for this. The quality of his voice is amazing!!! I fell in love with this man when I was a child and saw "Hans Christen Anderson" - I watched everything I could of his growing up. When I was older, he was on The Phil Donahue Show in the States (he bought a sports team and was there to talk about it). A lady who was originally from London called in. She was in a hospital after the war and Mr. Kaye had stayed overseas touring children's wards while most of Hollywood moved on with their lives. Her call was to thank him and it made him cry. I didn't think I could love him more but after that day I did. Thank you Danny Kaye - for everything.
