Two absolutely talented, funny men. They are American icons with which we were blessed.

What an actor! !!!!! Artist!!!!!! Had all that music inside his memory, never learned to read a note, knew every thing whith his heart, his sooul. ......

Do not be that stupid! DK has started his career as a concert-pianist, and for that, you have to learn to read notes in order to learn them by heart.

@@jeanghika7653 Danny Kaye said from his own mouth to the audience at his Evening with Danny Kaye and the nNew York Philharmonic that he couldn't read a note of music. Danny was never a concert pianist. He was a vaudeville comedian on the Borscht Belt circuit during the Great Depression in the 1930s before he hit it big in Hollywood in the very early 1940's. I have seen you spread this bogus lie on other Danny Kaye videos. Please stop.

I didn't know Art Carney could play the piano. He was in 'The Honeymooners" & very funny in that show. Danny & Art are very funny in this video, too!

I remember an episode of “The Honeymooners” in which Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) was a contestant on “Name That Tune”. Ed Norton (Art Carney) helped him practice by playing various tunes at random for Ralph to name. He kept playing the 1st 4 bars of “Swanney River” as an intro for each tune. But when they actually played “Swanney River” for Ralph to name the composer this time, he could only guess Norton instead of Stephen Foster, and thus lost the whole pot of prize money. So, that’s the 1st time I ever heard Art Carney play piano. Another time was when he played a music publisher in the movie “Scott Joplin: King of Ragtime”, starring Billy Dee Williams as Joplin.

Tengo presente como fue descubierto por un productor que quedó encandilado por la forma que se manejaba por las mesas cuando era camarero. Lo hacía con graciosa y genial manera de igual forma que luego la proyectaria en sus hermosas películas.
