The way you phrased it makes it sound like it was consensual when it wasn't. McKenzie Philips didn't have an *_'inappropriate relationship'_* with her father. He groomed her and raped her repeatedly for several years and he was the one who introduced her to narcotics too. He is the one to blame for McKenzie's trauma and drug and alcohol addiction. That whole family is effed up because of this man, his grooming and abuse left an everlasting ripple effect on all their lives.

No evidence for this being the case. It's usually hereditary traits that cause this behaviour to manifest. It begins at some point, due to a mutation for a lack of functional empathy and impulse control -- both being highly heritable. Most cases where a family member breaks this cycle, is usually evidence of a mean regression -- and as such it's usually evident that they exhibit greater impulse control and empathy.

"S.A. Charges???"🤦‍♀️ First, it was "Rape." Apparently that terminology was too harsh and offensive to rapists, so the terminology was watered down into calling rape just, "Sexual Assault," as if rape is just a little insulting, or just a basic assault. Maybe just a mere push or something. Now a Rapists' crime of **RAPE** is being called only a "S.A. Charge." Pfft... These aren't trivial changes or differences. **Words. Are. Meaningful. Words. Are. Powerful.**

There are certain words you can't say on KZbin. You don't know if the content creator is monetized. There are certain words that can get a content creator flagged and they could lose their monetization. So no one is trying to downplay the word.

@@TheOnlyLadyBella I hope this is the case, but my point would still stand since KZbin flags the word "rape" as being possibly too harsh or inflammatory for its platform. Even if what you claim is applicable here, your point wouldn't apply to the fact that terminology in common parlance used generally in society has changed the use of the word "rape" to "sexual assault," or even just plain old, "assualt," however. Thanks for the feedback regardless.

Settle down Karen. If you use the word "Rape" in a video, it gets taken down. That why they say "SA charges" instead of Sexual Assault. Thanks to the insane liberal democratsnin this world, we can't even have proper conversations or communications because everyone needs trigger warnings before certain words can be said. Apparently, HEARING the word "Rape" is treated the same as BEING raped. So, while you are here ranting about people using watered-down terms and it minimizing the facts...Know that you have the weak minded progressive liberal democrat snowflakes to blame for this neutered story.

Poor Chynna, checked herself into a mental facility when Mackenzie started to tour with her book. She honestly just thought they were close because some fathers and daughters are. She had no idea they would get high together and “be together.” Mackenzie’s relationship with her father is one of the many reasons she relapsed so very often. I mean it’s incest. And Bijou, she was out there at an early age. Money, drugs, acting, the beast that is Hollywood and growing up there, the privilege of it all, and then working in the industry. Scientology probably gave her her first grounding ever, which led her to Danny.

If someone in the family doesn't drag all the garbage outside and air the whole thing out in its entirety, and no one takes accountability, the sickness just keeps on repeating itself all the way down the generations. Because you're always only as sick as your secrets. Mackenzie Phillips did as best as she could, with all the rest of her family up the river Denial. They really didn't make her attempts to heal easy for her. But she did everything she could in that direction on her own anyway. Considering everything those horrible hippie b*stards did to this poor child, she did very well for what she was given to work with. I used to watch her '70's television sitcom regularly back when it was on.

I’m a woman I’m 55 and I don’t believe them I don’t know how a jury believe them I would like to actually hear the testimony but after all those years 15 years they convicted them on what they said there has to be more to the story, they were all Scientologist the Scientology is very powerful, at least in California because most actors are Scientologists and they all stick together. Oh lord. Ok there are at least 10 women who have come forward 5 of them testified in the trial. Only 3 were “named” in the case. Danny likes drugging women because drugged women are powerless to stop him. Two of the 3 went to Scientology and reported one of those two also went to the police. None of them knew about each other. One of the women didn’t bother to report to Scientology because she knew from previous experience that they don’t do shit about it except make you do auditing and ethics counselling that you Pay them for only for them to blame you for what happened to you. When she left Scientology she went and reported it to police. Jane 3 that came up 8 for 4 against conviction because reasonable doubt due to her being his girlfriend at the time. They all have copies of police reports and their ethics reports, also copies of Danny’s ethics reports because both parties are given copies by their ethics officer and cos case supervisor. If you want to know about who else and what evidence go watch growing up in Scientology channel. Aaron knows the women and was there reporting on the trial because they asked him to. They didn’t trust Tony Ortega to reliably report and tell the truth because of the shit he pulled on the first trial.

Even though I'm not a Masterson or Scientology fan, finding out that the "charges" against Danny happened over a decade ago and were dropped by the police when they quickly discovered that it was just a couple fans who wanted to act like groupies but get treated like girlfriends retaliating against Danny with bogus accusations, and that the charges only got picked back after the two women used the negative views on Scientology and the Internet to convict him in the court of public opinion years after the fact shocked me. Worse yet, this was combined with a judge and prosecutor who are both up for re-election and needed a high profile case to publicize and they actually tried him. Over 4000 untested and unsolved rape kits in the California law enforcement system, and they wasted millions to go after a man the police had already investigated and ruled out just bc a bunch of feminazi idiots started complaining. I don't know what's worse, that we live in a world so backwards that a prosecution like this could even happen, or that every woman in America (except Mila Kunis and the 11 female witnesses who testified on his behalf) just automatically bought the lie bc they've been trained to only hate. It's pathetic and sad. I'm ashamed to be an American and of the people who participated in this.
