Porsalin doesn't have a very convincing fake laugh. And Danny is painfully unfunny. The results are very entertaining for me.

Bottom line, they all suck without each other. The beauty of the OandA show was the chemistry. Everyone can blame Opie all they want but Jim Sam and Ant are mostly unlistenable on their own.

Jocktober got boring towards the end when it just became listening to sam describe pictures being posted on Facebook.

Dannys temper and pride were his downfall. Sam knows how to play the game but sooner or later he will trip up

I disagree with Danny, Jocktober was great. It was one of their best bits ever IMO and especially one of the better things they had going on in the last years of the show. Danny said "it was so vile and unnecessary" that's the exact reason why it was so funny. Jim and Anthony being mean and riffing together was one of the funniest and best things about the O&A show and that's basically what most of Jocktober was. I have to give credit to Opie for coming up with Jocktober. Also you're so right about 2004-2010 being the best years of the show overall, I don't care about the ratings that was the funniest radio ever.

Why does is seem like 99% of people in the comments hate the show? We all listen to it A LOT. We all like the show. There always has to be some caviat.

What danny doesnt realize or maybe hes just bitter is that opie and anthony has actually grown after they split because of patrice and bill burr tapes and colin quinn. They had on some of the best comedians and put on a good show. If ant wasnt such a creep and opie wasnt so estranged they could have gone on to do better things

I always hated Sam the most, Danny second. Can't forget what a douchbag Danny was during his time on the show.
