Dan Sites was a great inspiration to me along with Pushead, Mackie Osbourne (Social D Skeleton,D.I. Dog) and others. I started to do flyers for The Farm, On Broadway, and Berkeley Square. His flyers and album covers are LEGENDARY. From RKL to NOFX , his work just gets better and better. I want a Longest Line poster for sure, it's been my favorite. Thanks for everything Dan!

Danny Sites, a true icon who's art defined and captured an era. I grew up in SB in that time and lived that scene. Danny covered a van of mine with his artwork but true to PR form that vehicle got driven into the ground after just a few weeks on an ill-fated trip to a gig down in So Cal. I wish I had pix of that rig now. Thank you Danny for the fun and the memories.

So far I've been zeroed in on the three between Bruce Lee and the Dhali Lama; I think it goes Rosie the Riveter, Thomas Edison??, and Nikola Tesla. I don't think it's Edison so I'm gonna flip it to .25 speed and reassess. Oh! It's Steve Jobs, not Edison. The turkey vulture is a Dodo Bird and the monkey looks like an interpretation of Banksy's rats and graffiti. And he's spot on about not being afraid of death because of psychedelics. There's a bunch of research being done to study psychedelics' potential as a therapeutic drug for PTSD and End of Life situations. Pretty much anyone who's done shrooms or LSD is like, "Yeah, no shit. I already did the research and the science checks out." Anyhow, all my love to Dan and his friends & family. I've always loved RKL and Dan's art work. Such a huge influence on me growing up in the 80's. So glad that Dan has embraced his situation and opened up for us on this podcast. And what better format than with old friends like this. Very emotional ride, this one.
