I love this for two reasons, the first being that this is dedicated to his mother and it's beautiful and the second is that you can tell that he writes songs purely from the heart and from his love of music which is what it's all about music is supposed to be about having fun and used as a creative outlet to express whatever you're feeling music is not about money, fame, or materialistic or any frivolous things and I think it's amazing that he decided to make music because of that reason not for validation but simply to express his feelings and I've always been a BH but now I am a Danny wood fan.

This gave me goosebumps and tears. I was my Grandma's primary caregiver for a year when she was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. I literally watched her illness take her day by day. My Grandpa passed away just 10 weeks after her. Very rough year, but this song also gives me a lot of joy because I know I'll get to dance with them again someday. Thank you, Danny ❤️

As a childhood friend of Danny Wood, I’ll never forget the day he got the call that he was chosen to be part of the New Kids on the Block. To the best of my memory, the call went something like this: “Hey, Danny, this is Joe Hodges, VP of new artist development. I’ve got good news and bad news for you, buddy. I'm truly sorry for the loss of your mom, but that song I think I listen to it now about 15 times in a row your voice your vocals are amazing and it really brought me back it hits hard with me I lost my mom one year ago was her year anniversary on July 12th 2021 I want to thank you as I look forward to you and your music because you got it you are so amazing I've heard you sing in the group which I love and grew up with and my birthday is August 8th and what I've been doing is just throwing into work because I'm truly helping people but I wanted to come see you guys so bad and medical people are able to get around red tape a little bit better then non-medical staff but everything was sold out so quickly but you truly are amazing
