Interesting premise of a show. I do think the bit with them arriving at the table is over the top. But the conversation is lovely.

Love Joan. She's nothing like her character on Dynasty, which is a compliment. Didn't watch Dynasty, was a Dallas fan, but whenever they showed her on that show (what little I saw of it) she was a total b****. Never smiling and always going off on someone. But, after watching a ton of interviews I've grown very fond of her honesty, intelligence, and glamour.

I love the skeptical look on Dame Joan's face when the journalist mistakenly claims that making films and going on stage was "the most important thing" in Marilyn Monroe's life.

An elementary big HINT on WHEN this was taped is: "(Margaret) Thatcher, she's still with us isn't she?"

Also, if you watch it until the very end of the credits, it shows the date of MMIII, which is 2003 as others have said.

Love the Dame Joan Collins, but that Ann Robinson trying to dis Marylin Monroe. Marylin had more brains than Ann will ever have. Marylin may have enjoyed a drink but at least she never had her kids taken away because she was a drunk like Ann did.

Joan Collins you know who she was not like some other actresses that needed a man to make them a real woman

I adore Joan but I 100% disagree with her on Margaret Thatcher. If you thought she was a good Prime Minister (I didn’t) that’s one thing, but men wanting to sleep with her? I’m sorry unless you were a retired businessman named Dennis, no I think not.

Marilyn is pure Billy Wilder in this film and `The Seven Year Itch`..so relaxed, so effortless, so divine. Still find it unsettling that Collins exploits Monroe in this way inasmuch as Marilyn eschewed her company. Also there is the unanswered question as to whether Collins was one of the `starlets` mentioned by Marilyn as an excuse NOT to attend Lawford` beach party. That said evidence suggests Marilyn was taken unwillingly (drugged?) to the beach house that night and what greeted her upon arrival was not pretty!!

A Good Time Girl..that`s a funny way of putting it. She succumbed to the casting coach and succeeded in spite of it. Many were used and discarded. Never even made one film. Sex harassment of women should not be described as a `good time` and those who submit as `good time girls`. Marilyn Monroe worked her +++ off. She didn`t come from a cushy home like Collins with a supportive family emotionally and financially.
