at a noodle shop There are actually 3 holes in the big pot that boils the soup, but it only has one type of broth. Of those 3 holes, 2 holes are clear broth that is boiled with pork or chicken bones and herbs. The curved hole in the pot It's just plain water for blanching the noodles. In addition, the noodle shop sells many kinds such as pork, chicken, beef in the same restaurant. He even split the pot of soup. Because sometimes Muslims can't eat the same broth as pork noodles.😁😁🙏🙏

I think Talat Phlu opens in the evening. You may have to go to Wat Klang flee market in the morning and The Mall at noon. You can greet anything either hello or sawasdee or nothing. Thai people are not serious as long as you do not harm someone. Wearing a loose, thin, and white polyester shirt will cool you down a lot on Thai streets.

Hi!D&D.This was another yummy vid.Talad Plu has famous and popular streets local food for along time so far.and food that u guys had looked yummy as well.In the end vid l thought mostly foreigner didn't like porridge rice soup coz it looked like patient's food in hospital.55

I do like a bowl of rice soup or congee at breakfast time. Aroy mak 🤣. Prefer it with chicken or pork rather than fish and definitely no offal 🤢🤮🤮🤮. As you have probably guessed I don't do offal or entrails 😂😂😂.

Dear Diggy, Jok Prince do not have a Michelin star, as you say in the video. In the 2023 edition of the Michelin guide, they were recognised with the Bib Gourmand Award by Michelin. So they are a Bib Gourmand restaurant, not a one Michelin star restaurant ;)

Good morning Diggy and Danny! I watch lots of SE Asia youtube videos every day! I've traveled many times there for 6-8 week trips and last in Thailand in 2019. Plan to return this Jan. I love your videos and was surprised that I never was presented with your videos before last week. I have now subscribed and liked. Can you help me with a Thai food question so I can enjoy my food experience there more? My favorite foods are Vietnamese because it is not usually spicy. I love all types of spices and herbs which is why I love Vietnamese foods. I cannot tolerate hot spicy - such as chiles OR too much pepper to the point of burning. I know I can ask for not spicy, and sometimes that can be done. Other times not, because the chiles or lots of pepper are already in the base. I had stewed pork leg in Chiang Mai and loved it as the spices used were so delicious and unique to my palate. But I presume this is actually Chinese? Are there Thai foods that are delicious when not spicy and the base is made not spicy so they can make it that way for me, that I can find in local, street food type places? Preferably not soups because it is so hot there it is hard for me to eat something that heats up my body more. If so, can you give me some names and perhaps places I can visit in Bangkok and Chiang Mai? You can also suggest Thai Chinese if they are more unique to Thailand as compared to the west. Hello 👍 thanks very much for your support 🙏❤️ About the food you could try : khao man gai, khao soi - soup but worth a try 😉, stir fry yellow curry powder (seafood or chicken yummy!), grilled fish in salt, moo ping and sticky rice. Good tip is usually you can order noodles without soup so then you can have just a noodle dish. Aslo pad see ew, pad thai ofcourse. There is many dishes as not all Thai people like the spice 😉👍 Hope you going to have a wonderful time in Thailand 🥰🥰🥰

Hi guys! Thank you so much for the recommendations! I forgot to mention I don't like sweet main dishes. Had Pad Thai there and too sweet, I couldn't eat it. Are any of the dishes you recommended sweet? A tiny bit sweet is OK because I cook Chinese style Shrimp and Broccoli and the recipe calls for a little sugar and it is very good and the sweetness is almost not noticed. I had Khao Soi in Chiang Rai in 2018. They made it not spicy and it was good! Any other dishes you can think of I can find easily in Bangkok and Chiang MAI? Thank you so much! @@danny_and_diggy

Bought this great Singapore made spice packet and cooked it at home and I'd say very close or as good as the hawker centers. Now that you know I like this dish, any other dishes come to mind?
