Oh, that's a fine ambiant song, really great job! As Maxx said, the woodwinds had a huge impact on the piece. I loved it.

Thanks, my friend! Yeah I like the little 'chirping' woodwinds, too. I played them live without the click track, so they're completely arythmical (I don't dance for the same reason!) but I think it actually sounds the better for it, so I never 'fixed' it haha.

Love your composing style...it is so ethereal! And spitfire makes so great libraries...good choice! ^^

Damn, this music binge is now costing me money. That was fantastic! You've convinced me to buy Spitfire's Tundra lol. I already have Albion Once and Iceni.

I am sorry? Haha! I only have Tundra of the Albions. I absolutely love it for its uniqueness and use it all the time, though it does have some rough edges that can be a bit of an annoyance. Which seems to sum up my general experience with Spitfire libraries well haha.

@@EthiliMusic You aren't wrong about a few rough edges, but overall I've loved Albion I and III. Definitely worth the money :D

I got here by the title of your song! The melody fits perfectly with the picture you chose. Great work! I think some eerie ethereal vocals would take it to another level! ^_^

Wonderful soundscapes and buildup. Those woodwinds sound like birds, lovely! I also like the deep drum hits and the track has a beautiful part at the end. Nice work!

Great track, it feels really "cold" and fits very well to the picture too. Spitfire Audio makes really fine sounding libraries.

Thanks, Maximilian! They do indeed.

I just happened to stumble upon you whilst watching some Albion V stuff. You muster up some brilliant compositions, friend! If I could recommend mentioning the VST and/or sample libraries in either your title or description (or both). It, more-than-likely, will generate more eyes and ears to stumble upon your stuff. This is the kind of music that needs attention! Well done, mate.

From what I've heard, Tundra is great for making pad-like beds for other instruments, not much else. Pretty niche IMO.
@EthiliMusic5 жыл бұрын
Pretty much. It had some great articulations you don't find elsewhere. Great for chords and beds and doubling. But they're not very suitable for leading a melody.

@@EthiliMusic Exactly. I bought it and from the trailers, I expected it would be a great composing tool, and was let down by how constricted it was.
