Looking to get into FPV. Can you recommend an o4 pro drone that is ready-to-fly and sub250g? I’m a videographer and plan to use the footage in videos. Still need to buy goggles and remote, definitely want to stay in the DJI ecosystem though.

The arch at 05:21 is Corona Arch, just outside Moab, Utah. We were there in January of 2024, and it's an epic place! It's one of the most incredible arches in the Southwest, and you can fly on a drone there since it's on BLM land. We were there in January of 2024, and there were very few people there, so it was a great chance to fly the drone and get some epic footage!

Just got my 2 first units today. Pretty easy to fit the Pro Air Unit on a 3 " Cinewhoop and a 5", the camera tough is a pain to fit on my Impulse RC Apex EVO... Printing some custom parts to see if I can make it fit. Any advice designing that? Awesome review dude! Thanks! 👊👊👊

I believe iflight will eventually release a defender 25 with O4 that will be a solid option.

As far as accessories I always to just recommend getting these drones with pre installed GPS and no additional receiver so it works with DJI RC. You have to set up the GPS in betaflight but it's easy

The major thing that pisses me off is that apparently the image to the goggles is exactly the same as the 03 I’m waiting for someone to tell me it’s not and why, but that’s the main reason I get DJI products is for the image you get in the goggles

It’s a lot better in O4. Much clearer, better colors etc. Every time I go back and fly one of my O3 quads I get bummed out haha. Sets the bar way too high

My biggest frustration with Avata 2 is 500 M Altitude limit. Do these O4 air units have the same limitation? I want to build long range drone but 500 M limitation is frustrating

VTXs don't have GPS. There's no altitude limit.

The O4 hasn't anything to do with the flying or hight limitations. That means you can fly as high as the battery runs out.

Not needing an action cam in certain situations is a big change for FPV. Also the smaller O4 is huge for people building tiny quads
