I think thats the secret, puting the less effort and the max of precision on it, like when you keep your fingers as near as possible from the strings while playing, the guitar definitely sounds better. anyway yes he's killing it !!

I only stumbled across this channel last night and just by pure luck. God I wish I'd have found it sooner. Danny your playing reminds me so much of Gary Moore and in particular his album 'Still Got The Blues' and the song of the same name. It's an album that's helped me through some dark times in my life but also holds some treasured memories. I've had a Fender stratacoustic for 5 years and hardly ever picked it up but you've given me the motivation again to give it a go. Thanks Danny, I've subscribed and will be donating 👍

Love these HT40’s they REALLY let the guitars personalities come through. Very responsive. Out of all the expensive amps I’ve had this Blackstar made my gibby LP Classic sing the best. Nice playing guy keep up the videos!

It comes from being able to hear the licks in your head first. With experience and study of scales/intervals, you'll reach a point where you can simultaneously play notes on the guitar as you imagine them in your head. It takes time (a lot of practice) and the guy in the video is very good at it. Many guitarists will also have pre-learned licks, and they'll throw these into performances too. Study intervals both by ear training, as well as their physical locations on the fretboard, and you'll be off down the right path :-)

It’s all sorts of practice and learning of riffs and licks that will eventually build a solo/jam session. I don’t really think about what’s coming up, it just kinda happens right there and then. But, if you learn a new lick every week your vocabulary will grow and grow to a point where you don’t need to think of licks they just happen. If you haven’t check out #lickfriday This concept what the Catalyst for the series.

Combination of DI to Logic Pro and the camera mic for a bit of room sound. Nothing special thought.

Its the vintage setting on the gain channel. ISF is Halfway and the Treble Mid and Bass are all on about one o'clock. Its is the Deluxe version of the amp so has a different speaker that is meant to react differently with the valves. I dont really know to be honest.
