One of my fav Pantera songs is Good Friends and a Bottle of Pills simply because Rex's bass is so prominent. It's just a simple bassline but fuck me the tone and the way he plays it is just so full of aggression and groovy. Just like dimebag he plays with so much feel and groove it just hits you deep in your soul and I love it.

Tbf, the amp doesn't really master, except for a mid scoop, he changed amps constantly For Self-Titled he used a Music Man, no idea for Iowa, probably a Warwick Streamer, and for Vol. 3 and AHIG he used an Ibanez ATK, which is a copy of the Music Man

I prefer usin 1 amp also helps reduce the idea you need amp X because nothing else will do. Once your in the mix it rly rly rly doesn't matter.
