You must live in a dry/no road salt state! I dream of owning a car like this with no rust and bolts which are easy to undo! Great video.

Southern California, our cars more likely to burn 🔥 up in a fire before you’ll see a bolt with rust
@Dswanky2 жыл бұрын
this makes sense because its much harder to do with rust on everything

I had pulled the e brake on my 05 corolla at 60 taking a turn so I could drift, sure enough I did and hit right into a curb then into the grass. Nothing too major though, this video helped me replace my bent tire rod, thank you man.

It's so tempting to use that e brake but it's just not worth it. That's a good car try not to crash it I know it sounds obvious but I know how tempting it is to drift even on the camrys with the foot brake.

This side looks like a piece of cake compare with the driver's side. I am trying to muster my energy for this. With my luck every bolt will be an hour. Your car underneath looks like no salt or snow has ever touched it. How do you keep that baby so clean? I almost got rid of 2004 but now with my gas prices I am just loving it! Keep those videos going. The quality is great, you get every aspect and detail, you got great tips, your explanations are thorough.

I have an 09 and it looks like I have to remove the oil filter housing on the passenger side. On the driver side I didn’t feel confident that the trans oil pan could take any weight while jacking it up, so I just did the trans oil filter, dropped the pan, and lifted the trans with the jack and some wood as to not damage it. But pretty much same process.

Great video. I have two questions please: are both sides the same in terms of the process? and did you have to get an alignment aferwards? Thanks!
@dannysdiygarage2 жыл бұрын
Definitely it needs alignment, I have two videos one on the right side and one for the left side, the left side is more difficult if you have a automatic transmission
