Some of my friends and I were staying at the old Binions when the FBI raided it and shut it down. They made us all leave immediately. I didn’t get a chance to have one of their roast beef sandwiches they served on the casino floor. I had heard it was the best roast beef sandwich served anywhere in Vegas. That’s my one and only Binions experience.

The dressing mostly makes a salad. However, I sometimes buy radish seeds from my local hardware store and/or Walmart. I will sprout them like alfalfa or bean sprouts and put them on my salad. Their peppery taste have made me say what a good salad. I will also put them on sandwiches as well.

Danny, I eat my vegetables, esp. salads, with my meat. Bite into the meat, and then put the salad in, and it’s delicious. I always ask the waiter to bring the salad with my meat.

I’m with you Danny. I don’t like salads and only now that I’m older I started eating salads for my health. Longhorn makes a good salad with strawberries and pecans but if you go to Wicked Spoon you’ll find a good variety that are pretty good

I love salads. Since I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, it has been no bread, no rice, no pasta, no potato, so I eat salad almost 7 days. I lost 65 pounds, and the Magnolia restaurant on Fremont has a great chef salad! If you are looking for great food, my first thought is the Oxtail soup at California hotel. It is so good it should be the signature dish of Las Vegas.

Garlic Bread $4.49, one pancake $5.99, a banana is $2.49, $4.99 for coffee or tea, $4.50 for a 20 oz Dasani & $8.49 for a slice of cake!😳 All this & Nevada still pushing for a $15/hr minimum wage...just hit $12/hr this year up from $7.25 with health insurance) & $8.25/hr back in 2019. Not sustainable. Vegas & Reno will be in ruins within the next decade or so at this rate. Same playbook as Cali & NY. It's $65-75 for a sheet pizza no toppings in NY, even upstate/western NY. Fewer folks can afford to eat like this. Uber Eats/Grub Hub orders down in most metros. So so sad really. Most of the time, more than half the plate is carbs (potatoes/french fries & bread)..cheap filler. Back in the day, I could get 5 Arby's roast beef sandwiches for $5+ tax..not some "sliders" or a fish fry for $6.99 & eat like a grown man requiring real animal protein. If only I could turn back the clock 15-20 yrs..🤷‍♂️
