I've probably walked by Diablo's Cantina at least 100 times in my life and I've never eaten there. Time to change that as I continue my quest to vlog every restaurant on the Las Vegas strip and downtown. I love Mexican food so I'm looking forward to trying a lot because

We like Diablo's at Luxor. The margaritas and appetizers are a good size, tasty and reasonable. I would definitely eat there again. I liked the enchiladas and nachos.

VWS: As usual your narrative descriptions were top notch ( excellent). You go above and beyond to describe the food of the restaurants you visit giving your viewers an in-depth idea of what to expect. I remember when one of your viewers who was blind thanked you for the way you describe each and every dish; it makes a discernable difference. The manager of the restaurant kind gesture goes a long way with me and the food prices were not too bad. In fact the $40 triple fajitas could be shared by 3 people easily IMHO. The only item I thought was an outright rip was the dessert at $11; kinda reminded of the 6 chip nachos at the Fontainebleau ( no wonder that place is struggling). No charge for the diet soda? Anywho enjoyed the vlog see you Tuesday Peace ✌️ out

I was actually pleasantly surprised when we ate at Diablo's last summer. It wouldn't have been anywhere that we would have chosen, just because of soooo many other options in Vegas, but that's where our friends wanted to go. I thought the aguachile shrimp ceviche was packed with flavor and yet still so light. The food is fresh feeling and doesn't weigh you down. As usual, another awesome video Shin!

Thanks for showing Diablo's some love! We ate there on our last trip, family went back the next day because it was so good! This coming from former South Bay residents used to Redondo/Torrance Mexican food! FWIW, rajas are "strips", usually poblano peppers cut into strips. The interesting thing is the timing of this video. In all of the years I have spent in Vegas, I have never been to Diablo's Cantina at Luxor (or Mirage). I was actually talking with a friend about possibly checking out the Luxor location next week or the week after. Nathan's and Diablo's Cantina is what we eat at Luxor! The Aguachile Shrimp Ceviche is really good! The Trio Fajitas is the best for someone who wants to try each of the proteins!

I've only been to Diablo's at Luxor once, largely because I miss the ambiance it used to have when it was right on the strip, essentially where Eataly is now. The iconic girl devil hanging over the strip, with the music bumping! There used to be these 2 sexy cop hotties that would post up in front of the place too, for additional people watching enjoyment! I guess the one in the Mirage is still open, but its days are numbered, along with all the other restaurants like Sol in there! Cool of the owner to slide you an employee discount, especially since you buy half the menu!🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Another great video Shin!

This food looked amazing. I usually fill up on a million chips & salsa so by the time my food comes, I am too full to eat it. Ha ha. The dessert looked interesting so I would have to try it. Mexican food is delicious 😋 I also love shrimp dishes. And my usual order is the fajita trio, kind of like you had. One thing I have never had is the chicken pazole. I do love soups usually, so I don't know why I have not gotten it so far. I did try a menudo once and did not like it. So, I think I might have been staying away from soups because of it. 😊 As always, it's been great watching your review.

Shin, I would love to try the shrimp and steak fajitas. The combo of all those fajita flavors are among my favorite Mexican foods. Great review of a restaurant with a past. Boy, our experience at Diablo's in April was SO different...salsa that tasted like spaget sauce, tasteless Guac. Our entrees were also disappointing. Having eaten Mexican food in SoCal for 30 years, we were so surprised. Maybe Diablo's has a consistency problem

I also mentioned I thought the guacamole needed more seasoning and spice here. I liked the salsa though the reaper salsa is where it's at. I'm sorry to hear your experience wasn't great. Consistency is always a thing and I've had the same restaurants serve me the same dish well and terribly before. But at least this day that I went, I thought it was mostly good. Thanks for watching!

Hii Shin!! I have been to that Diablo’s a couple of times, the first time I went the ovens were out and I just happened to have that enchilada trio. It was not very good, but I understand they were having difficulties in the kitchen. I think with that place, you just have to know what to order. Also, the menu looks a whole lot different than it did when I was there. It was all on one page so I think there are a lot more options now. I’d be willing to give it another try. I think Diablo's has an excellent value-to-food quality ratio for an on-Strip restaurant. I admittedly didn't have the highest expectation for Diablo's when I tried them for the first time back in May at the Luxor............but I had $20 of dining credit for them via myVEGAS Rewards and I wanted to make the most of it and.............while I had to be very careful and emphatic in them accommodating my plant-based diet by requesting no cheese and sour cream...............it was unquestionably worth it. 😊 I'm not going to say I was blown away or anything because I wasn't..............but the bang for your buck is excellent there without coming too much at the expense of food quality. I'd consider the food quality decent as a whole. And as far as drinking is concerned, the bang for your buck is even more impressive considering their LARGE sizes including their $25 45-Ounce frozen margarita. 🙂 So while I think Diablo's is obviously no Toca Madera, Casa Playa, Border Grill or Cañonita..............it isn't trying to be them in the first place. Diablo's knows what it is and it isn't trying to be anything it's not (mid-range casual dining), and it is really good for what it is. I'd even go so far to argue I prefer Diablo's over Javier's at Aria which is definitely a compliment for Diablo's. 😊 I'm enjoying your reviews immensely, thanks soooooooo much! 🥰

I didn't get the discount until I was done filming so it didn't change anything. I had heard the old Diablo's in front of the Monte Carlo wasn't that good so I never tried the one at the Luxor until now. I liked it though. Thanks for watching!
