My friend, we are almost the same population, which in time changed its language dependeng on the latest conqueror. North of Jiricek line, Bulgarian ancestors spoke vulgar Latin / proto-Romanian. Vlachs kept it, the rest of Bulgarians adopted Slavic. But traditions and DNA shows we're brothers.

@@ionbrad6753 Bulgarians spoke and speak slavic language, the ancient thracians ( the old inhabitants of Bulgaria territory today) were speaking vulgar Latin, and probably when nomadic Bulgarians came they mingled. The Bulgarians were mongoloid slavised tribes from Volga pushed out by rus tribes
