Guys let me explain. This type of zhikr was done by sheikh Mansur before battles back in the 18th century. This not a act of worship but more of a chechen tradition. It gives the energy to move on into battle. It was forbidden by Russian tsars to do.

Are they not devout in their worship? Are they not respectful in their faith? Why are you judging them? Even the Quran states that a person should not judge others, that judgement is Allah's duty. It's traditional practice from Chechnya. We do this when someone dies since chechens had other religion and culture (Before Islam). This also always was used in war times to have that emotional power to fight against our enemies. But the counter clockwise stomper is not happy and he steps up to challenge the clockwise guy to a dance off in the middle. 3:20 He succesfully defeats his opponent and so they go counter clockwise. We can see his fellow counter clockwiser quickly congratulate him with a pat on the shoulder 3:33 The clockwise stomper gets angry at his defeat and aggressively dances towards a rival to reassert his dominance at 4:52 This time his potential opponents get intimidated and offer no dance off and so they go clockwise on the next lap.

Sufis are one of them, Sufi mysticism has produced philosophers of the caliber of Ibn Arabi, one of the greatest mystics and esoteric theologians in history. Among other things, it is the most tolerant sect, the only one in my opinion open to physical and metaphysical debate. The only one that leads, to a much more complex level, interpretation, life choices and the approach to rationality together with perception and imagination, a continuous circle that aims at the adoration of creation and the Creator.

They are doing Zikir. "Dzikir or Dhikr" is a praise to Allah which is repeated over and over again. The Zikir that Allah likes are Subhanallah (Allah is perfect), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La Ilaha Ilallah (there is no god except Allah), and AllahuAkbar (Allah is the Greatest). I think this dance is a local tradition when doing Zikir. Maybe it keeps them focused and not sleepy while doing it. because each word of Zikir is usually repeated 33, 100 or even 1000 times.
