Got to see him again in October of last year and took my 15 year old niece to experience him live. As I was driving her home I told her it was weighing heavy on my heart that he was wasted. I didn't know he was spiralling again before that night and it hit extra hard I guess. Made it my mission after that to youtube videos of his shows starting around springish 2019 when I noticed his wife had all but vanished from his posts on Instagram and up to early 2020 to see when the signs started showing and just how bad his live shows were being affected and was so bummed. Still didn't prepare me for the absolute crush his death has been to my soul. To see him still wearing his wedding ring and sober is the BEST. Seriously dude, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for sharing your videos with us. 💜😭💔

Yes in going back on videos there is a noticeable change from about march 2019, some show coughing and shortness of breath, a report released since passing said he had hospital treatment for pneumonia and had had an operation for it and was still very unwell recovering at home. Sad to lose such a talent and genuine person, it appears to be been preventable but crazy times everywhere with covid😓
@lurk79674 жыл бұрын
Weighing heavy on your heart, I mean Justin was who was he was don't feel bad because of the way he chose to live his life and dont focus on the way it ended be happy it happened in the first place and you got to see him. Not trying to be rude I understand what you are saying and its okay to feel bad but at the end of the day this is what he chose and Persoanlly I think we he have to respect that..... even if we dont agree with it.
@marquettegloves99074 жыл бұрын
@@lurk7967 What a callous thing to say. What are you talking about? Dying from drugs wasn't the life he chose. It's not like choosing to be a milkman, he was an addict. This wasn't his intention. He was sober for at least 8 of the last 10 years of his life. Clearly he cared and fought it as best he could.
@at_brunch38364 жыл бұрын
@@marquettegloves9907 Thank you for saying that. His life was not easy from childhood and he had a soft heart. It's in his eyes, movements and songs.
@lurk79674 жыл бұрын
@@marquettegloves9907 I think you are totally missing my point... Im saying don't focus on the fact that he was an addict..... Im aware that he was "sober" for a long time but if you really think it was 8 years out of the last 10 then I guess you believe everything you read... You can say its a callous thing to say but after his passing have commented on a lot of videos and had chances to talk to people that knew him and if you think what I say about him while grieving is callous Then what they say about him will break your heart, and frankly, I don't think you are ready for it! I will admit I replied to this comment a bit too much... I just don't understand why she would tell her 15-year old niece that it was weighing heavy on her heart that he was using. Cant, we have enough respect for the man to not circle everything back to his substance use. If you were in his shoes wouldn't you hate that! that's all I was trying to say with that comment and you can call it callous or whatever you want but I find a lot of people making comments like this and that's fine different people grieve differently. I guess this is how I grieve... Anyways I love you If you don't understand what I'm saying it doesn't matter!

@DanSchram, it’s a little rude not to reply to direct questions from people who enjoy your video work. I asked months ago whether or not you had the missing footage from this recording-twice, as a matter of fact-and you’ve never replied. I’m sure you must get notifications, so there’s no excuse not to at least reply with a “no, I’m sorry; I don’t”, or “why, yes, I do, but I can’t give it away for free; would you like to pay?” Right…? 🙂
