By low he means the bridge is shorter...

@@krysztof6917 By this he means that the _action_ of the strings is too low- i.e., that they are too close too the fingerboard because either the bridge or the nut is not high enough, and as a result the strings clack against the fingerboard when vibrating rather than resonating freely
