a mat can be made from a sheet of cork.i'm not sure thick would have to be but 3/16" should work

cool it was quite common for names to be written in many pieces of equipment I have come across it before and it will nearly always be a womans name as women used to assemble a lot of electrical stuff back in the day

@@Psychedelicxylophone yes that was also true I believe Sugden amplifiers were all built by hand often by women who will have assembled a complete amplifier
