Danske Statsbanen EC432 - Rødbyhavn - Hamburg HBF

This is a ride on Danish State Railways EC432, a EuroCity service from Copenhagen to Hamburg, via the Rødby-Puttgarden Ferry across the Femer Belt. This train actually originated at Nykøbing Falster due to engineering work. We board the train at Rødbyhavn station, which then rolls onto the ferry. About forty-five minutes later, we are allowed back onto the train before it rolls off the ferry to Puttgarden and then continues on to Hamburg HBF. At Puttgarden, the DSB crew switches places with a DB (German Railways) crew for the journey to Hamburg.

Do DB units run a reverse working over DSB, or is it just DSB stock cleared for both networks?

Only DSB units are cleared for working over both systems. DB DMUs from what I saw did travel as far as Puttgarden, but do not board the ferry.

AndreasOelfuss Nope, The route is changing now via Funen and Jutland. So now you don’t need to take the ferry
