The dead saints are not in heaven: Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? (Pro. 30:4). And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. (John 3:13). For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, (Acts 2:34). The dead will live again after the first (for the elect) or the second resurrection:And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them...and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. (Revelation 20:4-5) and verse 12 speaks of the second resurrection "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." Earth will be the abode of the saved while those of the 2nd resurrection will receive literal death (if still unrepentant): Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. (Matt. 5:5) His soul will abide in prosperity, And his descendants will inherit the land.(Ps. 25:13) Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.( Isa.60:21) For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (Ps. 37:9-11) For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
