Tbh we DO need a DMC game that will finally end the series with one hell of a story. And i just wish it would be a story about Sparda brothers finally getting over every bad thing that happened between them and coming back home as true brothers and family Nero wanted so much I don't care if the sales will be low or the Sparda game not happening. I want to see my favorite franchise end the way it deserves.

@@teleportedbreadfor3days Yup, plus it makes sense with "6", being the 'mark of the devil', etc etc. I know Capcom can do it too. They tell amazing stories through quite a few of their games, amidst occasional inconsistency. The media that DMC has is pretty great in my opinion, especially Visions of V.

@ DMC has had novels, manga and even games (the first one) that show others can make a quality DMC story. Of course, Hideaki Itsuno will unquestionably be missed, but my only real worry is Capcom hiring the wrong person who doesn’t understand Devil May Cry, who oversees things like symbolic writing that make a DMC game or story, etc. and we wind up getting another DMC2, or worse, another DmC: Devil May Cry. I personally have at least three ideas for a DMC finale, with at least one of them being a must: -The Sparda Clan facing enemies inspired by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. -A story mode that’s longer than 20 chapters. -Dante, Vergil and Nero having a final showdown against Mundus, putting an end to his evil and his reign.

Man, I'm really happy that in the DMC fandom there are still people who see Dante and Vergil not just as memes and stuff, but rather as characters that represent something and have an amazing backstory, if you know what I mean..
