This jam just took me back to my youth days. We had a dance group, and it was the in-thing back then. This was in the late 90s into the early 2000s. I'm 41 years old now and the body may not move as well as back then, but I bet you, I can still get down to this one! hahahaha! What I really love is that it is relevant to young people, and we need to get that generation back from the enemy's snare. I now have a Foundation that does youth development, empowerment and recovery programmes. Now this sounds like a Dante Bowe song and touched my heart. Fun vibe music with a message. It left me lifted up and feeling joyful in the Lord! Something I didn't feel with most of the secular-feeling songs on the album. I liked the music but the message was missing in them. I love the regae and R & B vibes in the music. Love something that makes me feel like dancing. I just wish it had the faith filled lyrics and annointing in them that I know Dante has in him. I ain't nobody and I'm certainly not trying to be harsh about this because I have a great amount of emotional attachment to Dante and his gift as he has touched me and moved my soul with his music. At times when I know it was God working through him to answer me about a particular situation. "Take Me Back" gets me EVERY time. It was at a time when I needed that song to drive home that feeling when you first meet Jesus and how intense it was. When I felt like I had been in that slow fade.......gently drifting away from that First Love feeling from Him. I pray Dante will find his way through this discovery period I feel like he's going through. It would be a shame for him to make music to just satisfy this world when he has such an incredible gift for making music that can change lives for Christ.
