The best part about this is Roboute making is DAMNED clear that Dante is no longer to act like a subordinate and FORCING Dante to finally accept some recognition for the ludicrous achievements he's garnered over his millennia of service. The fact he strait up tells Dante to NEVER kneel before him again as he has EARNED the right to stand with him and speak to him as an equal and will ORDER him to do so if he must. Dante has made a career out of insane achievements and honouring them all as they deserved... accept his own - where he becomes humble to a fault. It's great to see someone like Roboute, one of the few people even Dante would not, can not, argue with, finally giving him his dues - even if he has to low-key force Dante to accept them.

there's also the fact that Guilliman knows full well that, not counting the time that Guilliman was completely out of commission in stasis, Dante is actually much older than him. only counting his time actually active Guilliman is functionally only around 300-350 years old at the time of him having this conversation. meanwhile Dante is around 1,600. the oldest non-Dreadnought Space Marine in the Imperium. he's basically got roughly 5 times Guilliman's age and experience and a worthy number of feats to back that up.
