八門 BAMEN Eight Gates on Qi Gong and Taiji Quan

The "Eight Gates" are a traditional codification of the Eight Trigrams applied to the human body. They are fundamental in the practice of Qi Gong and Taiji Quan, but they are also an excellent method of memorization and understanding. With the "Eight Gates" we do not think about the trigrams in an abstract way, but we experience them in the body, in the muscles and bones of the legs, torso and arms. And we connect with the great energies that flow in our Mother Earth.
