Edgard George Zomboss is a scientist who one was an human but then killed himself to prove that he could make a living dead for a science contest (he used himself to experiment), but he ended up in 2nd place. Edgard was really mad at this and then saw the actual winner, a guy named Dave that managed to make sentient talking plants. Edgard went right to Dave and told him that he will send a zombie apocalypse to him for making him lose that contest. Edgard then started to go to every place he could find a dead person and then turn it into zombies so he could get his revenge on Dave, but he took a lot of time and Dave already went crazy by waiting for that apocalypse. Edgard, after several years, finally managed to have a full zombie army, and he sent them all right to Dave's house, but when they arrived to Dave's house, he realised that Dave managed to make even more sentient plants that were capable to shoot projectiles and be used as a defense; and that's how the endless battle between Plants and Zombies begun.
