Hello Ms. Engineer, thank you very much for introducing such useful and practical books. Mrs. Engineer, I have a question. Is Professor Ching's Form & Space & Order book useful for interior design?

I would suggest the book “The Manual for the Barefoot Architect”, a good guide to sustainable building

As a Texan with a very different accent, I find the “r” in drawRIngs so endearing. 😊

I completely love that. I now find myself saying "Drawings" in a Texan accent 😁 Sending love 🙏

Hi hi i have some questions. I watched your video on the differences between interior design and interior archetecture. (Probably didnt spell that correctly) Anyway i think i am leaning towards interior architecture as i really love the asthetic and soft furnising side as well as being able to have the quaulification to knock out walls and stuff on my own.. The first question i have is; if i do study interior architecture will i be quilified to call myself an interior designer as well? Another question i have is; how long would i need to study for to be quilified to become an interior architect? Also, i am currently in the process of choosing subjects in high school. I wanted to know if you had any insight on what subjects i should choose to achieve the goal of becoming an interior architect or designer. I am so so sorry if its alot to ask at once!!😅 and also your videos have helped me alot with my decisions about where i would like to see myself.💓 Any help/response would be so much appreciated💓💓

Yes you can- interior architects can call themselves interior designers (not the other way around though). Often times I just end up calling myself an interior designer as its easier for people to understand😅😅 Here in the UK university is 3 years in a specialised area. Let me know which country you are in and what options for subjects you have 🤗

@@dantierandbalogh hi hi. I am from the Caribbean and i am thinking about studying abroad in either the US or the UK and was wondering what qualifications subject- related i would need to have. Currently my choices for subject selections are geography alone because in this particular situation art and geo are in the same grouping so i cannot pick both. So i was wondering if it was necessary to do art for CSEC ( Csec - the name of my final exams at the end of high school) or can i just do some external art courses in like painting drawing skulpting and pottery. Thoes types of thing. Because for now.. i have been doing art as a subject for about 3years so far. Would that be enough to get in to an interior architecture.. or do i need to go all the way with it to A levels. And also thank you so much for replying!
@dantierandbalogh2 жыл бұрын
Hi I would look up specific uni courses in the UK & US and see what they ask for. For example here in UK they ask that you have "at least 1 creative Alevel"- thus, no external art course would not be accepted!

what subjects should i take for my Alevels if im pursuing interior designing career in my future? plss can you help me out btw love your vedios and lots of lovee
@dantierandbalogh3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Amina💗 I personally took geography, art, product design and maths (but later dropped maths). You can do any you want, as long as you have AT LEAST 1 art/design A level. This is because your portfolio is detrimental in the uni interview stage☺️ I hope that helps you & good luck🙏🍀💗

@@dantierandbalogh Thank you so much for the reply I took science subjects in my olevels right now and i totally dont have any idea which subjects should i drop and what subjects should i take in my Alevels... did a lot of research but couldnt find a straight answer.... My another question is should i drop all my science subjects and take maths and arts on my A'levels? some ppl suggested me to take physics which is my least favorite subject from science....
