I remember meeting a santa at the mall with my parents as a kid. The waiting line was so long, and I made friends with this kid who told me he just bought a teddy bear with custom clothes on. There were elves (whose jobs were to entertain the kids lining up) who had this magic trick involving throwing an invisible ball into a sack, and then there would be a sound effect and all the kids thought it was real magic. Anyways when we reached the end of the line, I sat on Santa’s lap and asked for an iPhone, and the santa said it was too early for a kid to be having an iPhone (lmao these days the irony). So I think he told my parents and they bought me a Philips MP3 player. And though I tootally forgot where I put it, I still remember this song to this day. Edit: lol I always thought the singer was saying ‘Thailand’ instead of ‘dry land’
