“Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn”
I learned this from John Maxwell back in 2015.
Everything that happens is a blessing or a lesson.
You’re being guided to your higher self if you learn.
Otherwise, you’ll repeat the same mistakes.
When my first company failed, I was devastated.
But looking back, it was a lesson, not a setback.
Setbacks are valuable learning experiences.
It taught me to play big and to see every challenge as a stepping stone to success.
Success isn’t about avoiding failure; it’s about learning from it.
This is one of the 21 Principles of the top 0.01% that have shaped my journey.
In my latest video, I dive deep into these principles and how they can transform your life too.

One lesson I've learnt from billionaires is to always put your money to work, and diversifying your investments. I'm planning to invest about $200k of my savings in stocks this year, and I hope I make profits.

You are right. The best approach I feel is to diversify investments- by spreading investments across different asset classes like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.

If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but is very advisable you make use of a professional like I did. If you get the facts about saving and investing and follow through with an intelligent plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your money.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 and first half of this year with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
@adamsalbert3477

Just ''buy the dip''.... In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder.

I've gotten into a plethora of assets with $31k spread across stocks (options and futures) for the short term and Roth IRA, index funds, and ETFs, for the long term. These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
@JacquelinePerrira

Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Katherine Stewart.

I wrote down lessons I have learnt, already telling my children what I learn. We all are a body, either for or against Almighty together. Just like sells multiply. Each give and receive to be healthy continually. Into to action again thank God. Being stung by wild bees at my gate. Thank God they and me are OK. Protecting my property from many trying to disown me from being the owner. I Pray to God to help me move. Why I learn as much and fast as I can. Do as much as I can, leaving a Legacy behind when gone. So that They thank God for. Seeing what He did.in and through prayers I pray, where I saw they struggle. God shown me how just praying what I want, and praying God bless them, what I nead. The whole community where upgraded, old homes being renovated. Now I pray I can have a turn, before I sold and move on like when bees sporn. There is many fields that kneaded to be pollinated. Many places nead to be prayer protected.

Current biggest struggle is finding a reasonable paying job, I've gone from earning 6 figures to working TWO minimum wage jobs (75+ paid hours, but with travel and waiting around I lose 100 hours a week, 2 days are 20 hour days), and living in a place that stifles my ability to start making progress on a long term goal I've been procrastinating on for years (because it terrifies me, that I'm simply not that good - I want to finally start my KZbin channel). I would like more space than living in a closet... I'm sort of making some progress, but it's slow, I'm exhausted and am losing hope. I know I'm far too self-critical, and it only hurts my progress, but it's difficult when I seem to have 57 tabs open inside my head 24/7, I don't know what's wrong with me... P.S. This was a great video, so thanks Dan!

First of all, your heart is definitely in the right place. Don't change your heart. Second, I'm glad you didn't go through with it. I bet that the world is a better place with you in it. I've hit rock bottom and bounced before. I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone. It didn't kill me, or you either. Here's what I believe. In order to build the greatest of buildings, you must dig all the way down to the bedrock. That means tearing away everything that lives on the ground and laying it bare. Now that you've been through that process, you need to decide carefully what you will build. I recommend reading a book called "The One Thing". I think it can help you plan what you will build. As far as helping people, keep it up. Just remember, don't be their crutch. Human desire can never be fully satisfied. Don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs(yourself). Just give away the eggs. You are probably familiar with the idea of the oxygen mask on a plane. In an emergency, parents are supposed to put their mask on first and then help their children put on the mask. You can't truly help others without filling your own needs first. Hope this helps you in some way. God bless.

The easiest way to explain the helping others bit is this. If you give your time, energy, help or money to 10 friends. What is the likelihood that those same 10 friends help you too. Quite high really. If you help 100 strangers that you don’t know how likely is it they would help you. Well they are no longer strangers and out of the hundred maybe 1? But sometimes that’s all you need to help you become what you need to be. If you help people out of your own heart. People will realise you are a good person. People like to help out people who are good people. Who knows, one of the people you help might know a guy who knows a guy who interviews you in the future and they may put in a good word for you.

I heard in this video that you love feedback. I would say in my personal experience with talking with you, the only area I can really see from a client standpoint is that I believe you could do a better job or getting context before giving advice. But 90% of what you’ve said has been spot on but the 10% was only due to not having enough context. I think the best thing to do is to tell people you don’t have enough context to give advice on the situation vs give them advice that might not be the best due to a lack of context. True. But, the point is about being able to delegate a task to someone already skilled at that task. That way, you can move on to other things needed for you to scale. I don't have a problem with hiring outsourced workers. You just have to understand there will be a significant time investment in order to train skills and proficiencies. It may be better to recruit proven talent. Ideally, replace yourself with someone already better at your job than you ever will be. Instead of training someone to be less proficient than you are now. In a nutshell, you build the team, and the team builds the business.
