Glad I can be a little more transparent here. Definitely want to say that at the end of it all it’s a shitty situation. I also wouldn’t blame Aaron for this as he didn’t really find out about all this until I first got to talk to him about it during our all terrain tour(will talk more on that I promise). That man does everything in his power to do right by skateboarding and although I don’t agree with what he does outside of work, he is an amazing man and has done a shit ton for the community. Braille has always been one of the best things to happen to me and I’m beyond grateful for everything we’ve done and will continue to do. But I do feel like being open and honest is the best way to move forward. 🖤💯

What did you do before now? Seems it happened a while back. You seem to have been fully aware he was drunk around kids and the fact there are two incidents where Carlos was acting sketchy. I started watching probably 5-6 yrs ago because it was entertaining but slowly began to hatewatch for all the drama after learning a third of the dudes are pedo's, 1/3 in a cult, and the final 1/3 seem like real ass dudes like Nigel. Happy to hear he's sober if it's true. We can hate someone for their past, but we should always want them to do better and be an example for others. Nigel has never said truer words. Behind the scenes are skaters with skeletons in their closets. Some pros are just straight up groomers. I've heard Shane O'neil can send really creepy DMs and Shawn Hale met his girlfriend (who idk if he is still with) when she was under 18. These of course are just stories I've heard from various people in the scene, but with what I've seen with my own eyes I believe it. I've seen Carlos at my local get really touchy with this girl who was definitely underage or barely 18. Honestly it didn't really matter what age this guy was sitting on this chick's massive thighs in the skate park. They were in each others faces while he had thousands of flies buzzing around his hat. It was just weird because she followed me on Instagram and her bio had her age which she changed a couple times. It went from 17 to 18 to 19. I know what I saw happened too because a year later we got the same job at Amazon randomly and she told me that was one of the lowest moments of her life.

This isn't damning evidence at all. By definition, all we see in this video is allegation. I'm not saying that to protect Lastra. It's just a fact, no matter how any of us feel about it. I actually would like to see and hear Lastra's side of it, but along with Nigel's accusation, there should be actual evidence of it, meaning film or photo, or something of that sort. Not to mention, redacted or not, the alleged victim's side as well. What happens if she decides to come out and say that the whole thing didn't happen? Or, if she confirms it? Either way, all we have so far is "he said-she said." That is not enough for a conviction of such crimes at all, and it isn't enough for me to just believe it either.

@@skamarfire I think you make a solid point there as well, and this is coming from someone who was in the skateboarding industry as a pro sponsored skaterboarder before I joined the US military. I personally know some of these guys, mainly John Hill, and it is safe to say that a lot of us in the industry know each other. I can't say that I know Lastra or Nigel, but I do know others who do know both of them. I don't agree with John Hill on a lot of political things, but I also know that if there is any truth at all to Nigel's allegations, there is no chance that John would take the chance of being even remotely associated with him in any way. Sorry for the long reply, but also thank you for adding something relevant and meaningful to the conversation that I hadn't seen in posts earlier on this video.
