Thank you for sharing this. Some of my mother's finest stews were made on a heater very similar to this one. This would have been in 1950s Britain. She would prepare the contents in the morning and light the heater. Then let it quietly simmer all day and we ate in the evening So this was of special interest to me. Excellent result !

Even today over sixty years later the smell of burning paraffin takes me back to a freezing cold council house in dudley, apart from a single coal fire it was the only source of heat, especially at night during the winter of 63, very happy old days.

Very nicely done!! This piece can now be pretty valuable because of your fine work. It's a pretty unique antique kerosene heater.

I'd love to have such a piece, your video is good but too long. 12 minutes is enough to show all without losing the integrity of your work.

At 28:30, 🫢😑 ~ we could see reflected in the chromed tank that you were working with no shirt on/topless - was your workshop that “hot” to be semi-naked in it, possibly not being ventilated = ⚠️
